HEGEROTH Stream New Album “Soaked In Rot”, Out Now

HEGEROTH is a band playing broadly understood black metal, open to influences outside the genre, diversity, a wide spectrum of means of expression, and unconventional solutions… all while maintaining energy, speed, and 100% metal in metal. Hegeroth was founded in 2010 in Upper Silesia (Poland). The band’s music has evolved from symphonic and melodic black metal in its early days, through complex, multi-layered melodic structures intertwined with disharmonies, to expressive, energetic pieces dominated by aggression, speed, and uncompromising expression. However, Hegeroth has never followed the well-trodden path of black metal, always seeking its own way and means of expression. The lyrics mock the mindlessness, dogmatism and meanness resulting from the imposition of a model of right-only thinking, religious oppression and mental backwardness.

The band has released five albums. Sixth is on the way…

Music for new album “Soaked in Rot” was recorded, mixed and mastered by Bene at HHSoundLab Studios. Cover artwork as well as whole layout was done by Maciej Kamuda (Blut aus Nord, Nunslaughter, Master). The record was released on March 25, 2026 in digital format and jewelcase CD as independent release. Pre-order is available at Bandcamp.

DARK MILLENNIUM Announce New Album “Come”, Official Video ‘Amber’ Out Now

German avantgarde death metal pioneers DARK MILLENNIUM return with their new studio album “COME”, set to be released on May 22nd, 2026 via Massacre Records.

The album will be available as Digipak CD, limited vinyl LP and digital formats, marking a new chapter in the band’s long-standing and distinctive artistic journey.

To celebrate the announcement, DARK MILLENNIUM unveil the first single and official video “Amber”, offering a first glimpse into the album’s unique sonic and conceptual world.

With “Amber”, DARK MILLENNIUM present a hypnotic and immersive track where shifting colours of sound and inner imagery merge into a fluid and dreamlike experience. The song reflects the album’s core concept: altered states of perception, where reality dissolves and new emotional and psychological landscapes emerge.

Serving as an entry point into “COME”, “Amber” captures the band’s unmistakable blend of avantgarde death metal, atmospheric depth and non-linear songwriting, where compositions flow seamlessly into one another without clear boundaries or conventional structures.

The central theme of “COME” revolves around intoxication – not only in a physical sense, but as a broader exploration of altered consciousness. The album examines the fragile line between reality and illusion, inviting listeners into a state where uncontrolled thoughts, sensations and emotions unfold freely, ranging from the beautiful to the deeply unsettling.

Produced, mixed and mastered by Hilton Theissen at Wide Noise Studio, the album embraces a deliberately organic and retro-oriented analogue sound, preserving the band’s signature identity while continuing the path established with “Acid River”.

A special highlight of the album is the interplay between drummer Andre Schaltenberg and founding member Christoph Hesse, who alternate throughout the record, adding an additional dynamic layer to the compositions.

With “COME”, DARK MILLENNIUM deliver a deeply immersive and uncompromising work that challenges perception, structure and expectation – reaffirming their status as one of the most unique voices within the avantgarde metal landscape.

DARK MILLENNIUM are:
Christian Mertens – vocals
Hilton Theissen – guitars
Michael Burmann – guitars
Gerold Kukulenz – bass
Andre Schaltenberg – drums

DAEDRIC Trades in Brutality for Vulnerability in Acoustic Cover of ‘Iridescent Wings’

Posted by tarjavirmakari on March 27, 2026
Posted in: Int. News, News. Tagged: DAEDRIC. Leave a comment

On the heels of their sophomore album As The Light Left, Daedric has released “Iridescent Wings” (Acoustic), out now via FiXT.

“Iridescent Wings” (Acoustic) the first single off the new Reborn EP, which will feature select songs from the recent LP As the Light Left. Initially described as “Daedric doesn’t really do “emo”, but if we did, this would be our emo song,” their latest release “Iridescent Wings” rises anew reborn from the ashes in a bare, confessional form, shedding it’s ferocity to reveal a more vulnerable side of the band.

The track highlights Daedric‘s remarkable sonic range, with Krystin Hope’s haunting vocals intertwining with gentle acoustic guitar chords, while producer Geoff Rockwell lends subtle backing vocals. The result is an intimate, stripped-down piece that trades intensity in favor of simple raw emotional clarity.
“When the possibility of doing acoustic versions came up, this one was a natural fit and was the first idea we had. That doesn’t mean it was easy. Getting the energy and emotion right took some real effort, but we ended up with something we think is a great addition to the Daedric canon.”

Born during the autumn of 2020 and launched in 2021, Daedric immediately resonated with fans in the modern metal world. Featuring vocalist/writer/artist Kristyn Hope working alongside producer Geoff Rockwell, Daedric crafts its signature sound by mining elements from every corner of the heavy music spectrum and combining them with soaring, emotive vocals and modern electronic production.

The project’s name draws inspiration from the open world role-playing games, The Elder Scrolls, which provided the entire theme for Daedric’s fist album Mortal, that was released by FiXT in 2023 with critical acclaim. The follow-up effort, As the Light Left, was released in 2025 amidst the band’s first full North American tour, supporting Danish-Swedish metal act, Vola, with a second North American tour following shortly after in February of 2026.

Daedric has collaborated with labelmates Celldweller, Fight The Fade, Andromida, Void Chapter, and Highsociety for a gamut of well received singles that have also pulled in more fans from across the world. After dropping a variety of singles, music videos, and collaborations Daedric has amassed nearly 500K followers across all platforms, scored interviews in Outburn’s issue #112, mentions on Louder Sound, Punk Rocker, Metal Hammer, Metal Injection Spotify’s official “Women Of Metal” playlist, and recognition from Cristina of Lacuna Coil in a Spotify Women of Metal roundtable discussion between Lacuna Coil, Spiritbox, and Halestorm. They’ve also gained notoriety as Daedric’s track “Abandon,” a collaborative effort with Andromida, found its way into the spotlight when Ubisoft chose it for inclusion in a promotional trailer for Rainbow Six Siege. With a European tour ahead and new music in the works, 2026 looks to be another big year for Daedric.

Chris Poland’s NUCLEAR MESSIAH to Release New Album ‘Black Flame’ on 24th April

In an unprecedented gathering of rock and metal royalty, Cleopatra Records proudly announces the April 24 release of ‘Black Flame’, Nuclear Messiah’s thunderous, all-star concept album.

Built around the visionary guitar mastery of Chris Poland, the legendary former Megadeth guitarist whose emotive phrasing and fusion-driven technique helped redefine modern metal, ‘Black Flame’ is a sonic prophecy uniting 36 of the most iconic musicians in rock and metal history across five decades.

Produced by Cleopatra founder Brian Perera, Derek Hughes, and Jürgen Engler, with A&R direction by long-term Cleopatra Records consultant John Lappen, Nuclear Messiah stands as both resurrection and revelation — a celebration of musicianship, legacy, and unrelenting fire.

Keeping the momentum going at a fierce pace as we roll towards the release of the full album, this new single ‘For Mad Men Only’ brings everything you’d expect from this stunning band, and more!
As for the album itself, “This record has so many metal icons playing on it,” he continues. “It’s really a must for any metal head’s record collection.”

He’s not wrong, either.  Blazing out from William Shatner’s commanding spoken introduction, a staggering lineup represents every era of heavy music, from Vanilla Fudge to the Kings of Thrash, via Guns N’ Roses, Uriah Heep, Whitesnake, Black Sabbath, UFO, Rainbow, Ozzy Osbourne, Alice Cooper, Judas Priest, Deep Purple, Yngwie Malmsteen, Thor, Testament, Night Ranger, the Michael Schenker Group, Yes and more.

Eye-opening covers, too, will be ripping open your ears – Lucifer’s Friend, May Blitz, NWOBHM heroes Holocaust and the immortal Uriah Heep (a killer take on “Look At Yourself”); and, while the remainder of the album is all new material, each song composed by the line-up that performs on it, reflecting, too, upon the history of hard rock, prog and metal – a living timeline of rock and metal, from the pioneers of the past to the trailblazers of today.

It’s more than a collaboration. It’s a metal summit, the multi-generational union of the artists who shaped the evolution of heavy music itself.

Hardcore Torchbearers PRO-PAIN Drop Second Single + Video ‘March Of The Giants’

Hardcore torchbearers PRO-PAIN share “March Of The Giants”, the second single off their long-awaited album Stone Cold Anger, out May 15, 2026 via Napalm Records. With their first album in 11 years, the New York legends—rising alongside Madball, Agnostic Front, and Sick Of It All—prove that they stayed on top of their heavy game throughout the years. “March Of The Giants” is David vs. Goliath—the pursuit of triumph over fear. With it, PRO-PAIN capture a story present throughout history: the oppressed versus the oppressors, a plutocratic class keeping a tight grip on everyone else. With added elements of oligarchy and technocracy, the scale of what the ordinary person is up against becomes even clearer. The impressive “March Of The Giants” shows PRO-PAIN continuously stoking up the fires in politically dark times, kicking down doors 35 years into their career.

The video for the new song was filmed in Belgium—specifically in Mons and Charleroi—and directed by Ludo Colapietro for COLAFILMSTUDIOS.

Gary Meskil about “March Of The Giants”:
“The second single from our upcoming album, Stone Cold Anger, is ‘March Of The Giants’—a song about standing tall and moving forward together to challenge oppressive forces and create real change. It was the first track completed for the new album, written with assistance from Eric Klinger and our former guitarist, Matt Sheridan.”

Rhythm guitarist Eric Klinger adds:
“We are thrilled that our previous single was so well received, and we hope you equally enjoy this one. Thank you all for the overwhelming support!”

Legendary New York hardcore juggernauts PRO-PAIN make their debut on Napalm Records with their sixteenth studio album, Stone Cold Anger, out on May 15, 2026. Their first release in eleven years showcases the band’s explosive energy in its purest form: Stone Cold Anger unfolds heavy, angry, and ready as ever—proving PRO-PAIN haven’t lost even an ounce of strength. An exceptionally catchy offering, the new album fortifies its groovy melodies and stirring guitar riffs with furious and inciting, anthemic vocals, turning the ten new songs into worthy follow-ups to their 3.5M-stream hit “Voice Of Rebellion” (2015).

Stone Cold Anger is an enthralling, memorable, and triumphant milestone for PRO-PAIN, and an impressive demonstration of power. See you in the pit!

Gary Meskil about Stone Cold Anger:
“Thank you to our fans worldwide for 35 years of unwavering support. After a decade away from the recording studio, we return with Stone Cold Anger—an album forged from global tension and the rising demand for accountability.”

Order your copy of Stone Cold Anger NOW

The highly anticipated new album (which features the return of former guitarist Eric Klinger) opens up with the punishing “Oceans Of Blood”, an energetic and captivating track which confirms once again that the hardcore icons have not lost one bit of their relentless anger in the last 35 years. The title track abruptly commences with soaring melodic guitars acting as sirens around frontman and bassist Gary Meskil’s commanding barks. Aptly named “March Of The Giants” is just that, a show of brute force layered upon an ever-so-heavy groove-laden foundation. “Uncle Sam Wants You!” displays a more rock ’n’ roll attitude, complete with a driving bass line and distinct social commentary; the raw and honest vibe continues throughout “Demonic Intervention” and “Rinse & Repeat”. Meskil’s raspy shouts fill the melodies of “Hell Or High Water” before PRO-PAIN forge onward and into the anthemic “Scorched Earth”—fiercely belting “And so it begins…” The following track, “Jonestown Punch”, galvanizes with stirring, up-tempo two-steps before “Sky’s The Limit” rounds off the album with catchy sing-along choruses.

Stone Cold Anger tracklisting:

  1. Oceans Of Blood
  2. Stone Cold Anger
  3. March Of The Giants
  4. Uncle Sam Wants You!
  5. Demonic Intervention
  6. Rinse & Repeat
  7. Hell or High Water
  8. Scorched Earth
  9. Jonestown Punch
  10. Sky’s the Limit
