FEVERSEA Release Second Single ‘Until it Goes Away’ from Upcoming Album

“Until it Goes Away” – a scream of agony from Feversea!

Man was meant to replace God as the universal measure. The events of the 20th and 21st centuries, however, have brutalized the creature once known as Man beyond recognition. There is no going back. We are left with an erased image, a misnomer—a sacred animal wasting away in a profane world. Man is both insufficient and irreplaceable.

“Man Under Erasure”, the debut album from the Oslo-based band Feversea will be released on May the 23rd, and the second song to be unveiled from the album is “Until it Goes Away”, released on April the 25th.

It can be streamed and downloaded here: https://orcd.co/feversea-until

This is what the band has to say about it:
The second single from “Man Under Erasure”, “Until It Goes Away”, is a scream of agony. To be an animal is to be in pain. While Man has desperately tried to elevate himself—to escape his base, material, and animalistic existence through language, symbols, technology, and rites—pain ultimately collapses these feeble bulwarks, hurling him back into the confused and lonely state in which he was born. The universe carries no message beyond cold indifference.

Built around an angular and dissonant riff, the song occasionally breaks into melodic passages and is the most fast-paced track on the album. This structure ultimately gives way to what can be described as a breakdown before dissolving into a cinematic ending. With perhaps the album’s rawest vocal performance, the voice mirrors the song’s lyrical themes. For us, this is a live favourite, offering a more straightforward and energetic rock ‘n’ roll moment amid the larger, more complex pieces.

Feversea is a post-metal band from Oslo, Norway drawing on influences from black metal, sludge metal and shoegaze. Their music lies in the intersection where the ferocity of black metal meets with ritualistic and ethereal soundscapes. Musically, their debut album “Man Under Erasure” draws from various forms of metal while incorporating influences from neofolk and post-punk. The album is melancholic, despairing, and cathartic. Haunting and melodic while maintaining a strong sense of structure with recognizable riffs—an element often lacking in atmosphere-driven music.

Fluctuating between song and scream, the voice is both from beyond and from below. Lyrically, it is deeply personal but delivered through impersonal images, parables, and riddles—like a spiritualist or Orphic medium carrying messages from beyond. A muffled scream buried under several inches of ice. The album begins in sardonic despair and ends with uneasy, desperate acceptance.

The band’s lineup of Ada Lønne Emberland on vocals, Isak Lønne Emberland on guitars and synthesizers, Alexander Fossen Lange on guitars, Aleksander Johnsen Solberg on bass guitar and Jeremie Malezieux on drums recorded the album at Evil Octopus Studios with Isak Lønne Emberland as producer, mixer and mastering engineer, with cover and sleeve design by Isak Lønne Emberland.

“Man Under Erasure” has the following track list:

  1. Man Under Erasure
  2. Murmur Within the Skull of God
  3. New Creatures Replace Our Names
  4. Decider
  5. Sunkindling
  6. Invocation
  7. Until It Goes Away
  8. Kindred Spirit

“Man Under Erasure” will be available CD, Digital and Transparent Bone White Vinyl LP formats, and can now be pre-ordered at:

  • Webshop: https://www.karismarecords.no/kar295-feversea-man-under-erasure/
  • Bandcamp: https://feverseaband.bandcamp.com/
  • US Webshop: https://darkessence.indiemerch.com/pre-orders

“Man Under Erasure” is a musical exploration of this new, uncertain universe, where the last remnants of humanist hopes and dreams have been reduced to embers—barely legible carvings etched into eroding earth. Our trust in ourselves has been misplaced. Everything we ever knew will be erased.

Melbourne-based hard rock outfit Stonetrip are set to unleash their powerful new single ‘Fame’ on May 9 via Golden Robot Records. The track is available to pre-save now across all major streaming platforms.

Pre-save ‘Fame’ HERE

‘Fame’ explores the complex and often destructive pursuit of notoriety. We all crave it to some degree – some chase it relentlessly, some stumble into it by accident. But ‘Fame‘ digs into the darker side of the fame game: the people who will do anything to get it, burning bridges and ignoring advice unless it feeds their ego. It’s about those who want the spotlight but fear what comes with it. They’re running full speed… but from what, they’re not even sure.

Driven by raw riffs, soaring vocals, and the band’s signature blend of classic and modern rock energy, ‘Fame’ is a track that cuts through the noise with its unapologetic truth. It’s loud, it’s honest, and it’s very, very real. Stonetrip continue to make waves with their no-holds-barred approach to songwriting and electric live performances, and ‘Fame‘ is another bold step forward for a band that isn’t afraid to call it like they see it.

Hailing from the vibrant music scene of Melbourne, Stonetrip is a powerhouse rock band known for their electrifying performances and raw, authentic sound. Signed to Golden Robot Records, the band blends classic rock influences with modern flair, creating a dynamic and unforgettable auditory experience.

In 2021, Stonetrip released their self-titled EP, showcasing their talent and versatility. This release solidified their reputation and garnered significant attention within the rock community. The band’s music, characterized by powerful vocals, driving rhythms, and intricate guitar work, reflects their passion and commitment to rock n roll.

2023 saw the release of Stonetrip’s debut album “Run Free,” featuring six singles and six accompanying video clips. The album has been well-received globally, further enhancing their international presence. Despite a few lineup changes out of their control, Stonetrip entered 2024 with renewed vigor and new music. Their first release of the year, “Beautiful You,” was a testament to their evolving sound and dedication to their craft.

Stonetrip has had the honour of supporting legendary bands such as Rose Tattoo, The Screaming Jets, and Baby Animals, further cementing their status as a formidable force on stage. With a reputation for high-energy shows and a dedication to their craft, Stonetrip has quickly risen to prominence, captivating audiences and earning a loyal fanbase. Echoes of the Extinct from Jyväskylä, Finland released their debut album Era of Darkness on April 25, 2025. Four-piece modern metal band founded in 2022 combines elements of progressive metal, metalcore and melodic death metal to create a unique, powerful and atmospheric sound.

Era of Darkness is the debut album of Echoes of the Extinct, and a powerful statement on the current condition of our planet and those who inhabit it. Musically, the album is the band’s interpretation of modern melodic death metal, a blend of melody, intensity, aggression and atmosphere. Lyrically, the album addresses the ecological collapse we are facing and the troubling direction humanity is heading driven by selfishness, intolerance, greed, and a refusal to acknowledge our place in the vastness of time and the universe. Era of Darkness holds up a dark mirror to our face, a reflection of the damage we’ve inflicted upon ourselves and the Earth we call home.

Echoes of the Extinct – The Story:

In the winter of 2021, Juuso Lehtonen and Jarmo Jääskeläinen, friends from Jyväskylä, started their metal project, which later evolved into Echoes of the Extinct, based on Juuso’s riffs and song ideas. Juuso had been playing guitar for a long time and had a desk full of riffs, but the idea of forming a band had not really taken shape. However, by chance, retired metal drummer Jarmo got excited when he heard Juuso’s material and wanted to push the material forward.

At first, the duo built the songs on an instrumental basis, while Juuso also took over the bass duties. The core of the songs became a rather classic death metal with Gothenburg metal influences, which is close to both of their hearts. Jarmo had quit playing in the past, partly because he couldn’t find any musicians who were on the same wavelength. But now, with Juuso leading the compositional work towards modern metal and metalcore influences, new kinds of parts and intricate interludes began to emerge. Influences included iconic metal bands such as In Flames, August Burns Red or, for example, the Australian Be’lakor. New inspirations such as Allt, Currents and Orbit Culture also served as influence. Over time, a shared approach to composition and arrangement helped the friends’ music to take shape in the form it has today. From the beginning, the project was also attracted by the variety of ways of building songs – not always going from guitar riffs to arrangements and bass and drum tracks, but sometimes also composing guitars for songs created structurally and rhythmically with drums alone. There was no rush, but in peace and quiet we made music that would be nice to listen to ourselves.

As the project progressed, we really started to miss having our own artist on bass. The solution was found at Christmas 2022, when Jarmo’s former bandmate, Kalle Hautalampi from Hyvinkää, switched from guitar to bass when he joined the band. Kalle brought his own unique perspective to the mix, due to his own playing history and musical taste.

By spring 2023, there were half a dozen instrumental demos and another bunch of songwriting tracks. At this point, the search for a singer began in earnest. This didn’t prove to be very easy at first, as there didn’t seem to be much supply of free and skilled metal singers in the region. After some searching, the brilliant Tero Ollilainen, who was found through a mutual friend and who finalises the band’s current line-up and soundscape, enthusiastically joined the project after hearing the demos.

It was at this point that the lyrical message of the band began to take shape. The band members share a common concern about the current state of humanity, nature and the Earth. Long-standing, but all the more topical themes such as human selfishness and greed, the corruption of nature, the Earth’s resilience, global warming and wars became the theme of the lyrics. The band members even played with the term “eco-metal”. Tero and Jarmo started to write and arrange the lyrics to the songs, after which the vocals were demoed for the instrumentals. Tero’s voice and interpretation were perfect for the project. After that, the arrangements of the songs were modified to make them more suitable for the whole.

By spring 2024, the arrangement and lyrical work was fully completed, the demos were ready and it was time for the final recordings. The vocals for the album were recorded at Inka Studio in Orimattila, with Pasi Löfgren as the engineer, and later as the mixer and master of the album. During the autumn of 2024, Pasi created the sound for the band and the band’s debut album Era of Darkness was ready for release. At the end of 2024, Inverse Records from Jyväskylä became a publishing partner, and the band released their first single in January 2025. The whole album was released on 25.4.2025 as a statement on the current state of humanity. The album is the band’s vision of modern melodic death metal – a combination of melodicism, aggression and atmosphere. Era of Darkness is a dark mirror that shoves the consequences of our existence right in our faces!

Tromsø’s LÜT Deliver Aggressively Delicious Single + Video ‘Glücksschmied’, Feat. Bela B.

Tromsø’s LÜT delivers aggressively delicious stadium punk rock featuring Bela B.

Last summer they had a crazy idea.. What if the biggest name they have gotten to know over the years participated in a song on the new album? Great. Let’s give Bela B the call. And the next thing they know, he was standing at Tromsø airport, eager to get going recording and exploring LÜT’s home turf. They say it feels like a fever dream looking back, luckily they have proof in both the song and some pictures. The result? Judge for yourself.

So here it is: Glücksschmied (feat. Bela B), a first new taste of something different and grand.

Listen to the single here: https://ffm.to/lutglucksschmied

Aggressively delicious stadium punk rock from 4 unbothered and unknown boys and 1 star who needs no introduction.
Perfect to skate, hang and hardly work to.

All in all, Glücksschmied (feat. Bela B) is a hard hitting little gem of heavy and catchy guitar riff music. It’s time to get your cool on.
Norway’s most northern punks are hitting the sound waves twice as hard!
You might wonder where LÜT’s been the last few years?
If their creativity froze somewhere up there by the cold beaches of the North.
Far from it. Like Global warming and your favourite middle their asses off to speed things up.

Making 2025 the year where the band is finally ready to break their post covid cycle of one song every other year. Like a much-awaited menu update on your favourite takeaway restaurant.

BIO
The year is 2014, and the Tromsø-based band that eventually gets the name LÜT sees its inception in hermetically sealed boys’ rooms where hormones and teenage anxiety flowed freely. The result is sharp and distinctive rock, capturing fans from both the underground and the mainstream.

Fast forward to 2024, and LÜT has played at Summer Breeze (DE), Motocultor (FR), Spot Festival (DK), by:Larm, Slottsfjell, Bukta, Malakoff, Trondheim Calling, Vinje Rock, and Tons Of Rock. LÜT has been nominated for Best Newcomer at the Norwegian Grammys (2017) and P3 Gull (2017) awards.

They received praise from Lars Ulrich (Metallica) on his podcast “It’s Electric.”

Their album “Mersmak” from 2021 received a 5/6 rating in Rolling Stone Magazine, leading them to support Germany’s big heroes DIE ÄRZTE on a stadium tour in front of 80,000 people in 2022, and then for Skambankt on their farewell tour in Norway in 2022.

Hello 2025, and a new decade of modern Northern noise.
