KATAKLYSM released a multidisc DVD entitled “The Iron Will: 20 Years Determined” on July 3 via Nuclear Blast. The set, which features a documentary and bonus CD materials, depicts the ups and downs of the band’s long, turbulent career, as well as footage of KATAKLYSM‘s performance at last year’s Summer Breeze festival, which took place August 18-20, 2011 in Dinkelsbühl, Germany. The cover art for the release was created by artist Colin Marks (ORIGIN, EXODUS, NEVERMORE) and can be viewed below.
Finnish record label Spinefarm Records is celebrating its 20th anniversary by organizing a “summer camp” where members of various bands signed to the company — including those from SHINING, MOONSORROW, SWALLOW THE SUN, FINNTROLL, MEDEA and ENSIFERUM — are collaborating with each other in creating and recording new songs. The resulting album, tentatively titled “Spinefarm Allstars”, will be released before the end of the year.

Norwegian Atrox are marking their 20th anniversary on December 17th, at Blæst, Trondheim, Norway.
Since 1990 Atrox have played and toured with the best, recorded 5 full length albums and an EP, and given thousands of people a good time. After 20 years Atrox is stronger than ever, and ready to pay some respect to the true fans.
On the 17th of December 2010, Atrox will perform a two-set show at in Trondheim, Norway, dedicated to the music from the past, present and future. Involving miscellaneous guests, this will be a ONE TIME EXPERIENCE and tickets are limited.
The whole evening will be recorded on dvd by Gammaglimt and the show is to be scheduled for digital and DVD-release later.
