36 CRAZYFISTS Announce UK And European Headline Tour For January/February 2018

36 CRAZYFISTS have announced an extensive UK and European tour for January/ February 2018, starting in Glasgow and finishing in Berlin.

Having just released their deeply personal album ‘Lanterns’ on September 29th via Spinefarm Records, this tour marks the first opportunity for fans to experience new tracks such as ‘Death Eater’ and ‘Better To Burn’ live.

36 Crazyfists frontman, Brock, says, “We couldn’t be more excited to Come back to the U.K. And Europe in support of our new album ‘Lanterns’ and jam for all of our people across the pond!!”

Alaska’s 36 CRAZYFISTS will release their deeply personal new album Lanterns on September 29 through Spinefarm Records. It is their second release for the label and the follow up to 2014’s Time and Trauma.

Music often functions as that proverbial light at the end of the tunnel and provides shelter during any storm and calm in the middle of tumult. 36 Crazyfists understand this phenomenon firsthand. In fact, the Anchorage quartet—Brock Lindow [vocals], Steve Holt [guitar], Mick Whitney [bass], and Kyle Baltus [drums]—find catharsis within chaos on their aptly titled seventh full-length.

The band has shared the first track from the record in the form of “Death Eater”. Listen to the song here.

About releasing “Death Eater” into the wild, Lindow said, “It’s a reflection of self and the dwellings of rock bottom, discovering the tools to dig yourself out, and refusing to let yourself free fall into the abyss of hopelessness. Love, forgive, and never give in. In fact, Lanterns is about the fight within us all… forever refusing to sink.

Lifestyle Apparel Brand PUCK HCKY launches new “Thrashers And Slashers” line, issued The Dark Side, featuring lines from legendary rockers David Ellefson, Bumblefoot, 36 Crazyfists, Radio and Industry Personality Thom Hazaert, and more.

Michigan based lifestyle hockey apparel brand PUCK HCKY, known for their edgy, stylish and often Rock and Metal inspired collaborations with hard-hitting NHL stars like Marian Hossa, Freddie Andersen, Tomas Tatar, Hampus Lindholm, and more, have launched a new line firmly straddling the fence between Fire and Ice.

The aptly named “Thrashers And Slashers” line, incorporates lifestyle hockey and sports elements with bold Rock N’ Roll attitude into an apparel line so metal you could forge skates out of it! Featuring individual lines with legendary Megadeth bassist David Ellefson, world renowned shredder (and former Guns N’ Roses guitarist) Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal, Industry and radio personality and EMP Label Group co-honcho Thom Hazaert (including some LA-centric designs for Dash Radio outlet Los Anarchy Radio, which broadcasts Hazaert’s syndicated show “AM/PM with Thom Hazaert”), and Alaskan Metal sensation 36 Crazyfists. The SLASHERS lineup is rounded out by a goalie-inspired line with horror icon Ari Lehman, better known as the original Jason Voorhees from the classic slasher franchise Friday the 13th, also a musical virtuoso, who now fronts the aptly named horror-metal band First Jason.

Alaskan metallers 36 CRAZYFISTS have announced the addition of drummer Kyle Baltus to the group’s ranks. In addition, the band has been rejoined by bassist Mick Whitney following the recent departure of Brett “Buzzard” Makowski.

Commented 36 CRAZYFISTS: “We have known Kyle for many years and are very excited to have him join the band. He is an absolute BEAST behind the kit and his first shows with the band will be the upcoming August gigs.”

The band added, “Words cannot express how stoked we are to have [Whitney] back with us after a four-year hiatus.

“Many thanks to our brother Buzzard for rocking with us when Mick had to step down and helping us continue on as a band; we are truly grateful.

“In addition to the gigs we are playing in August to celebrate the ten-year anniversary of [36 CRAZYFISTS‘s 2002 debut album] ‘Bitterness The Star’, we are working diligently to make up the canceled European tour from last year, so we plan on crossing the pond and celebrate the anniversary with our Euro pals as well!

“Lastly, we are writing new music and looking to create the next chapter of the band.”

36 CRAZYFISTS will perform “Bitterness The Star” in its entirety at the following shows:

36 CRAZYFISTS‘s latest album, “Collisions And Castaways”, sold around 3,300 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 161 on The Billboard 200 chart. The CD landed at No. 3 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.

“Collisions And Castaways” was written and recorded between October 2009 and May 2010. It follows on the heels of 2009’s DVD, “Underneath a Northern Sky”, and is the band’s second straight effort to feature Steve Holt in the producer’s chair and Andy Sneap handling the final mix.
