“Dinosaurs – Twenty Years Live”, the first Live album of Italy’s AIRBORN, will be out this Summer. For the Torino-based power metal band, most active on the international scene, this goal represents the crowning achievement of a 20-year-long career, 4 studio albums, a series of shows in and out of Europe and a number of collaborations with just as many legends in the world of Heavy Metal.
“The one that we look at with the highest consideration and respect – says frontman Alessio Perardi – is the partnership started in 2001 with our producer and long-time friend Piet Sielck of Iron Savior”. Thanks to that very partnership, Airborn could score an important point during their 20 Years tour by sharing the stage with the world-famous German power metal combo for a few gigs. “For this live album we decided to record our hometown show – Perardi states – as a tribute to Torino, our city, and to the great number of friends and fans who represent our very first support core for twenty years now”.
“Dinosaurs – Twenty Years Live” is already available in streaming and digital download on iTunes, Bandcamp, Cdbaby, Spotify and many more digital music stores. It will be released as CD+DVD and will come in standard Jewelpack and as “History of Airborn limited edition box set”, including:
– two special codes for downloading “Demos & Rarities Collection” and an early, unreleased version of “Legend of Madog” mastered by Piet Sielck;
– hand signed picture card;
– exclusive heavy metal bottle opener/keychain with Airborn logo.
The box set will be available in 100 copies only, and there will be no further reprints.
