After a year and a half absence from the spotlight, ANOTHER LOST YEAR return with a new label, re-release bundle pre-sale and tour dates!
Five years after the success of their breakout LP Alien Architect, Another Lost Year have partnered with Godsize Records to produce an extremely limited bundle for their fans. In addition to the award winning full length, produced by ALY and Jose Urquiza (The Attic Recording Studio), this bundle includes physical releases of all 3 of the band’s EP series The Revolution – a collectable reprint of Part 1, the first version of Part 2 ever available in physical form, and the all new Part 3. Along with the 4 releases, included is a signed and numbered postcard featuring the re-imagined 5th Year Anniversary Artwork for Alien Architect, inspired by the original art.
To celebrate the re-release, the band has released a new music video for “Trigger Finger”, which features many former ALY members in a hilarious audition scenario.
In addition, a brand new full-length, Another Lost Year, is slated for a late 2021 release via Godsize Records/ Mirage Mhal Records, LLC.
Select live dates have been scheduled throughout the rest of the year, including dates supporting Blacktop Mojo, Black Stone Cherry and Texas Hippie Coalition.

Rock band ANOTHER LOST YEAR has premiered the video for single, “Call It Like It Is”, from their upcoming album due out in 2018 on Loudwire.com. The single is already gaining radio attention leaving no question on if this will be a career defining single for the Charlotte, NC quartet. ALY is currently wrapping up the end of the year with their annual Ugly Christmas Sweater Traveling Party. The remaining dates are below.
The video was directed by Dillenger (Dan Johnson) of Dillenger Media Group.
“We just decided to literally do what we wanted to do, get back to the reasons we fell in love with music, to make people feel something, even if that feeling is uncomfortable. When it came to our latest single, Call It Like It Is, we used imagery that we felt would invoke some feelings in people, and when it came to the video, well, we dug in hard, probably a little over ambitious, but we shot for the moon and could not be happier with how it turned out! Dillinger Media and Dan Johnson helped us execute the idea flawlessly in our opinion!” says the bands vocalist Clinton Cunanon.
The video for “Call It Like It Is” can be seen at this location.
The band is also releasing a “behind the scenes” look at the making of the video, which can be seen here:

Fresh off of ShipRocked 2017, ANOTHER LOST YEAR kicked off on last Friday, 3rd February, their tour with Toronto, Canada’s Hard Rock band NEVER SAY DIE (featuring Members of My Darkest Days) and Athens, Georgia band LULLWATER in continued support of their release “Alien Architect”.
ANOTHER LOST YEAR released “Alien Architect” on June 10th via Mirage M’hal Records/EMP/eOne. The second single off of the record “We All Die Alone” debuted at #8 on Billboard Heatseekers East North Central Region.
In addition, ANOTHER LOST YEAR debuted their brand new website at http://www.whoisaly.com and will be playing Rock into Spring at the M Resort Spa and Casino in Las Vegas Nevada as well as Rocklahoma 2017!
NEVER SAY DIE hit #15 on Sirius Octane Big ‘Uns Countdown for the week of 1-28-17 with “Like a Nightmare” and was listed on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock New and Active.
It’s not often a platinum selling band with a #1 song in the US, “Porn Star Dancing”, announces they’re going on hiatus, but that was the case when My Darkest Days singer Matt Walst was given the opportunity to front Canadian hard rock legends, Three Days Grace.
“Never Say Die started in the front passenger seat of the My Darkest Days Band Wagon… we had a relentless tour schedule,” says Reid Henry (Lead Vocals/Guitar). “During overnight drives, I’d squeeze through a small window to the front of the bus and stay up writing, singing, and occasionally wedging my laptop on the dashboard to record.”
Over the next year, NEVER SAY DIE remained a studio project of Reid and My Darkest Days bandmate, Brendan McMillan (Bass).
In early 2016, Reid’s demos caught the interest of Producer/Engineer (Evans Blue, Parabelle, Scarlet White) and drummer (Age Of Days), Mike Langford. The band began recording an EP that evolved into an album. With the addition of Mike’s long time tour mate, Dane Hartsell (guitar/vocals), what started as a dream, Never Say Die has quickly become a reality.
Never Say Die’s first single “Automatic” released in October and can be heard here:
