The 23rd October 2010, in Helsinki, Amoral will conclude the promotional tour for their lastest album: Show Your Colors (released in 2009)
The tour started in Helsinki, when, during the Helsinki On The Rocks, Amoral performed under the name of “Gold Johnson Big Band”, the first live date with the new singer Ari Koivunen. Certainly the new voice gives the band a new style, so that their 4th album actually differs from the former ones, when the group was considered a rising star of Death/prog metal.
The new singer, Ari Koivunen, won the finnish edition of the talent show IDOL, in 2007, and after that success his album “Fuel for the fire” sold over 70000 pieces, and had prestigious collaborations with Janne Joutsenniemi (SubUrban Tribe, Stone), Jarkko Ahola (Teräsbetoni), Marco Hietala (Nightwish, Tarot), Timo Tolkki (Stratovarius) and Tony Kakko (Sonata Arctica), among others. Recording musicians were Tuomas Wäinölä (Kotipelto, Nylon Beat), Mikko Kosonen (Maija Vilkkumaa), Nino Laurenne (Thunderstone), Mirka Rantanen (Thunderstone), Mikko Kaakuriniemi (Kotipelto), Pasi Heikkilä (45 Degree Woman) and Janne Wirman (Children Of Bodom).
“Show Your Colors” contains 11 tracks and it’s certainly a well done album, the sounds are something in between death and melodic metal ground.
