International power metal band Asterise is set to release new EP ‘Twilight Opera’ on January 16th 2026. An eponymous single ‘Twilight Opera’ is released today and it’s available on all essential streaming services: https://push.fm/fl/asterise-twilight-opera-single
Bartlomiej Mezynski comments: “With this EP, I wanted to experiment with the old-school side of rock and power metal — to capture that classic spirit but make it sound fresh and relevant today. These songs didn’t quite fit the direction of our upcoming full-length release, but I couldn’t imagine leaving them unreleased. Each track explores a slightly different style, ranging from a more rock-oriented vibe to a storytelling power metal song, highlighting the diversity of this release.
The 25-minute material represents a more experimental side of Asterise while keeping the heart and energy of true power metal. As always, the vocal performances from all singers are outstanding and bring each track to life in a unique way.”

The album features six different vocalists from bands like Gloryhammer, Marius Danielsen’s Legend of Valley Doom, Seven Thorns, Terra Atlantica just to name a few.
Bartlomiej Mezynski comments: “A new journey into the unknown has just begun.
The “Tale of a Wandering” album invites you on an emotional adventure once again. With the collaboration of talented musicians and instrumentalists, we’ve crafted a magical atmosphere brimming with energetic guitar rhythms and captivating keyboard melodies. The vocal performances on this album are truly exceptional. My aim was to create something unique—a blend of heavy riffs, nostalgic emotional passages, and a touch of traditional Power Metal style. I am immensely grateful to everyone who contributed to this incredible album. We have successfully reached our goal. Take a deep breath – the adventure begins now.”
International power metal band Asterise is set to release the second studio album ‘Tale of a Wandering Soul’ on December 6th 2024 via Inverse Records. The third single ‘Golden Land’ Arnaud Menard (Marius Danielsen’s Legend of Valley Doom, Alkemyst) & Noah Edward Simmons (Seven Thorns, Memories of Old, Questbound) on vocals.
Bartlomiej Mezynski comments: “Golden Land is the third single, featuring the amazing vocals of Noah Edward Simmons and Arnaud Menard. It’s a catchy, easy-to-listen-to song, with both singers delivering great performances, hitting some impressively high notes (as you’d expect with Noah and Arnaud on the track). I wanted to blend a retro, old-school vibe in the intro with simple, catchy guitar rhythms and choruses. I hope listeners enjoy the song’s simplicity and how memorable it is.”
International power metal band Asterise is set to release the second studio album ‘Tale of a Wandering Soul’ on December 6th 2024 via Inverse Records. The second single ‘Twisted Ferryman’ features Tristan Harders (Terra Atlantica) & Sozos Michael (Gloryhammer, Eons Enthroned) on vocals.
Bartlomiej Mezynski comments: “The second single, Twisted Ferryman, blends melodic riffs with neoclassical passages, while the lyrics tell the story of embarking on a new journey, sailing forward with the titular ferryman. When it comes to capturing the essence of sailing, no vocalist comes to mind more than Tristan Harders of Terra Atlantica. His voice perfectly complements the song, infusing it with a true nautical vibe. To top it off, Sozos Michael delivers irresistibly catchy choruses, culminating in a stunning a cappella duet between Tristan and Sozos. Don’t miss it!”
International power metal band Asterise is set to release the second studio album ‘Tale of a Wandering Soul’ on December 6th 2024 via Inverse Records. The first single ‘Into Fantasy’ is released today and music video can be seen below.
Bartlomiej Mezynski comments: “I decided to go with “Into Fantasy” as first single because it perfectly captures sound of the whole album. You can hear typical Power Metal rhythm guitars, fast guitar and keyboard solos, catchy choruses but also extraordinary bridge with totally different style and feel. Arnaud Menard and Sozos Michael did amazing job with the vocals. A lot of high-pitched notes in this song. Finally, the drums were recorded by real drummer, which adds a lot to result. If you are looking for something fresh but at the same time with old school Power Metal sound – you will not be disappointed.”

Apart from Tristan Harders and Arnaud Menard, this time, you will also hear beautiful female vocals performed by Katharina Stahl. The song contains fast guitar parts but also emotional piano and symphonic stuff in the middle that will be stuck in your mind for long time. The story starts right here.”
