WINGER: Release New Video For ‘Queen Babylon’

WingerU.S melodic hard rockers WINGER have released a new video for the track  ‘Queen Babylon’. It is the fifth music video to be taken from the band’s latest album ”’Better Days Comin” – ‘Queen Babylon’ follows the videos for ‘Rat Race’, ‘Midnight Driver Of A Love Machine’, ‘Tin Solider’ and ‘Better Days Comin”.

“Soundwise, ‘Queen Babylon’ is classic first-album Winger meets Winger of today” explains Winger frontman Kip Winger. “This video features the exclusive, unreleased extended audio version of the song with a dual solo from Reb [Beach] and John [Roth] at the end that isn’t featured on the album version. It is also the first video to include our original keyboardist Paul Taylor since [1990’s] ‘In the Heart of the Young.'”
“I have three different things I do: solo records, classical music and the band. And the sound of Winger is when Reb plays guitar and I play bass, and we write from that perspective,” Winger explained in an interview with Songfacts. “It’s really helped my rock writing to have studied composition for so long, because I can now take a riff that normally any given band might repeat four times, and then move to the next thing … Bach never did anything more than three times, so there’s a whole plethora of s— that I do on both levels. One feeds the other.”

New York City based hard rockers WINGER have unveiled a new music video – the title track from their Billboard chart breaking album ‘Better Days Comin’, released earlier this year via Frontiers Records. Check out the video below. This new video follows an extensive 2014 worldwide tour, including UK / European dates in May and June.

WINGER’s main stage performance at Download Festival saw bassist Liam Wilson (The Dillinger Escape Plan) join the band on stage for a live rendition of Winger fan favourite ‘Madalaine’.

American rockers WINGER have released a new single and video ‘Rat race’, from upcoming album “Better Days Comin,'” due for release on April 2st via Frontiers Records.
The high-energy song and video alternates between black and white performance footage and colour montages of life’s daily trials and tribulations. The clip was filmed in Nashville, TN and directed by Jason Green.

“In this day and age, how quick you think, hard you try, no matter how fast you run, someone is always gaining on you,” states WINGER front man Kip Winger. “We wanted to make sure the video visually represented that.”

WINGER To Release Sixth Studio Album “Better Days Comin’” In April

WINGER, One of the most misunderstood Hard Rock bands to come out of the 80’s is returning with their first new album in 5 years, releasing “Better Days Comin’” on April 18th in Europe and April 22nd in North America via Frontiers Records.

The notorious band comprised of members Kip Winger on vocals/bass, Reb Beach on guitar, John Roth on guitar and Rod Morgenstein on drums, are back with their latest album. The album is available for pre-order on Amazon.com in a standard  and deluxe configuration.
