Just recently the Polish death metal legends VADER finished recordings of their upcoming EP “Thy Messenger” at Hertz Studios in Bialystok (Poland). “Thy Messenger” is set to be released on May 31st on Nuclear Blast.
The band’s Frontman Piotr “Peter” Wiwczarek stated:
“VADERMANIACS!!! Here are bunch of final info about releasing of VADER new EP “Thy Messenger” .The record will be released as 12″ vinyl and CD world wide by NUCLEAR BLAST on May 31st. We also decided to have all five recorded songs on it.”

VADER, released their latest crushing album “The Empire” on November 4th 2016 via Nuclear Blast, and once again proved that their merciless riffs are made to unleash hell. “The Empire” was recorded at Hertz Studios in Bialystok, Poland and produced by Wojtek and Slawek Wieslawski. The stunning cover artwork was created by Joe Petagno (Led Zeppelin, Motörhead, Sodom).
Polish death metal legends VADER released their third album “Black To The Blind” on October 13th, 1997, celebrating today its 20th Anniversary!
The band’s Frontman Piotr Wiwczarek stated: “20 years ago VADER released Their 3rd full length album: “Black To The Blind”. The album was absolutely new look on the style for the band – in composition, sound and overall character. Songs were even more aggressive but also more mature and polished. Doc reached His top level in extreme drumming and Maurycy Stefanowicz – aka. Mauser – just joined the band as guitarist.
With “Black To The Blind” VADER established Their style. The album was recorded in Olsztyn in Selani Studio and original cover art was created by Jacek Wiśniewski. In 2012 the album was released for the first time in vinyl format by NIGHT of the VINYL DEAD recs SRHC and re-released by WHR (with new beautiful cover art created by Zbyszek Bielak).
Very intense tour, that followed the release of “Black To The Blind” ended with release of the next important album: “Live in Japan”. Among songs like “Distant Dream”, “Red Passage”, “Fractal Light” or title track “Black To The Blind” it was “Carnal”, that became absolute strongest point and a must on every VADER show up to this days.”

The first leg of the Back To The Black Tour 2013 starts with a show in Berlin on January 17th. During the tour VADER will play a special set based on their classic albums “Black To The Blind” and “Sothis”! There will also appear the biggest hits of the band of course. Peter and company promised over 70 minutes of total death metal massacre each evening. The guest we invited to join the tour are: ABORTED and BONDED BY BLOOD. Part of the tour will be supported by less known bands like FHOBI, ADIMIRON, BLOODSHOT DAWN and FLAYED DISCIPLE. The second leg of the tour will take place in May and will run mainly through Scandinavia and the Baltic region, the Balcans and southern Europe. We invite all VADERmaniacs to our shows!
