Thrash metal veteran Christian “Speesy” Giesler (formerly Kreator) joins forces with supergroup BONDED.
Bernemann Kost (Sodom, Bonded) adds:
“We’ve been talking about making music together since the “Hell comes to your town” tour in 2001/2002. It just took us a little longer to realize our plans than usual hahaha…..we were both so involved with our jobs at Kreator and Sodom that we never found the time, but we always stayed in touch over the years. If Speesy hadn’t still been with Kreator in January 2018, he would have been our first choice for Bonded, but due to the intensive Kreator tours it was out of the question. That’s why we were very happy about his collaboration on the song “Rest in Violence” together with Bobby Ellsworth. When the situation suddenly arose a few weeks ago and we broke up with our bass player, it was only logical for me to call Speesy first, and he didn’t really think long about an answer hahaha…. now we finally want to hit the gas pedal together.”
Germany’s Thrash Metallers BONDED have now released their sophomore album “Into Blackness” and it just entered the official sales charts in Germany at # 77 in the first week of release. Congratulations!

BONDED checked in with the following comment: “Today, we are excited to launch the new BONDED video, which was once again directed by Nico Schiesewitz / VIZO Films. This might be our best clip yet and we created it for the track “Watch (While The World Burns)”, which is the powerful first full song on our second album “Into Blackness”. And yes, we just heard the good news that “Into Blackness” entered the official album sales charts in Germany on # 77, so thanks to everyone who supported us and our music so far. We hope you will continue to enjoy “Into Blackness” and hopefully see you all on the road soon!”
BONDED, the group by former Sodom members Bernd “Bernemann” Kost (Guitars) and Markus “Makka” Freiwald (Drums) alongside second guitarist Chris Tsitsis (ex-Suicidal Angels), bassist Marc Hauschild and vocalist Ingo Bajonczak (Assassin), have decided to stick to their guns and once again collaborated with producer Cornelius Rambadt (Sodom, Disbelief, Onkel Tom) at the Rambado Recording Studio in Essen, Germany and also had Björn Gooßes / Killustrations (Aborted, The Crown, Carnal Forge) create the album’s artwork, just like on their critically acclaimed “Rest In Violence” debut album from 2020, which had entered the official album charts in Germany at # 84.

Germany’s Thrash Metallers BONDED continue to promote their upcoming sophomore album “Into Blackness”, out worldwide on November 12th, 2021 via Century Media Records.
Therefor a second single off the upcoming album is being released today. Check out “Lilith (Queen Of Blood)” in a video directed by Nico Schiesewitz / VIZO Films here:
BONDED comment as follows: “‘Lilith (Queen Of Blood)’ starts with a short intro by the Queen herself, performed by RægIna from Dæmonesq, then followed by a real Thrash Metal thunderstorm. Neck-breaking, hectic, brutal and crowned with an epic chorus. Again an interplay between brutal intensity and catchy hooklines. ‘Lilith’is highlighted by Makka’s powerful drumming and a cool lead guitar duel. A typical BONDED track with tons of riffs, double bass attacks, breaks and so much more! Lyrically, the song is the next track on “Into Blackness” that represents the conceptional storyline embedded in 4 songs of the album inspired by the fictional book “The Division Of The Damned” by Richard Rhys Jones. It introduces the appearance of an old, ancient female entity – a (blood) goddess called Lilith – the queen of blood!”

A first single for “Into Blackness” has been released today and “Into The Blackness Of A Wartime Night” can be seen in a lyric clip designed by Cloud Music Typography here:
BONDED checked in with the following comment about the track: “We are happy and proud to present you a first song of the upcoming BONDED album “Into Blackness”. Entitled “Into The Blackness Of A Wartime Night”, this track contains all of the musical trademarks by BONDED at once: It’s riff-oriented, fast, with plenty of tempo changes and displaying a permanent contrast between brutality and melody. The intense lead guitar dueling and above all the memorable, powerful vocal lines make this a great representation of the new album. And this song could almost be understood as the album’s title track, as it is lyrically part of the 4-track war-themed storyline centerpiece inspired by the fictional book “The Division Of The Damned” by Richard Rhys Jones. We hope you enjoy this first foretaste of the album…and look out, as there is more coming your way soon!”
