On 26 May, “Götterspiel: Dunkle Zeiten”, the new album by German RPG melodic death metallers BOSPARANS FALL, will be released. From the concept album, which is set in the universe of the role-playing game “Das Schwarze Auge” and which contains 10 songs of great melodic death/extreme metal, a first song, “Kampf um Norbeneck”, is now available as a lyric video on the MDD YouTube channel!

“Götterspiel: Dunkle Zeiten” will be released as a CD in jewelcase and as a limited DigiPak with alternative artwork in a premium aluminium box, which contains a patch and a puzzle map as well as a game/collector figure of the antagonist Xardas in tabletop scale 28mm. The upcoming album by the southern German RPG melodic death metallers BOSPARANS FALL is entering the home stretch. The album will be called “Götterspiel: Dunkle Zeiten” and will be released on 26 May via Black Sunset/MDD.

The album tells the first part of a trilogy story about the warrior Alrik Immerda, who, 1019 years after the battle on Bosparan’s battlements, is drawn into the preparations for the ancient rituals that have been going on for almost two decades. Role-playing game fans should already be alert to the name of the band, for the whole thing is actually set in Aventuria, a fantasy world from the German Pen&Paper role-playing game “Das Schwarze Auge”.

Musically, 10 tracks of predominantly melodic death metal await you, but they don’t stop at bordering extreme metal genres either. Be prepared!

The coming year is taking shape! The southern German RPG melodic death metallers BOSPARANS FALL have signed with Black Sunset/MDD and will release their debut longplayer in early summer.

The band’s concept is based on the pen-and-paper role-playing game “Das schwarze Auge” (The Black Eye) and lets the role-playing community actively influence the content of the album via various interactive social media channels.

Musically, the quintet offers melodic death as well as influences from other extreme metal genres. You can already look forward to a first-class album with a sophisticated concept, which the band also wants to bring to the stage! Stay tuned!
