17.09.2013 Brooklyn, NY@The Paper Box

Our next (and very important) show was in New York City. We have quite many Fans and Friends in this place, so we expected a number of visitors that evening.

NY welcomed us with nice and sunny weather…and a huge traffic jam 🙂 We spent hours trying to get through, which is not easy on Brooklyn streets. Finally we arrived at “Paper Factory”, loaded in and prepared for soundcheck. We had to work with local soundman who was not able to deal with all the equipment and technology. It took about 2 hours until the job was barely done. Then I ate something and went to bed to rest. We all came back very late to the club. Ross and Bob Bros from Immolation showed up in the meantime. We were talking a bit and reminding last tour in USA, which we played together. After that we started preparations for the show. It was quite good! Total mosh in the pit in front of the stage, Polish flag aside… Did we need more? 🙂 After the concert we met Polish Friends by a bar. Whisky, beer – a part in full swing 😉 Unfortunately, after a couple of drinks, a club owner apparently decided to “thank” us and we had to leave. Somehow I ended up with an opportunity to drive 350 hp Dodge Charger. Yeah !!!! We were driving around to find any open Metal Pub. No chance, so we came back to the bus. After we slammed one more “Żywiec” it was about the time to go to sleep. THX and GREETINGS to the whole NYC team !!! We’ll be back !!!!
