Metal Shock Finland’s Dave Pearce caught up with CHEMICALS OF DEMOCRACY at Hammerfest 5 not long after they had played the main stage and here is what they had to say about their influences, new band members and what they have been up to since the release of “American Scream”.
Chemicals Of Democracy are a five piece metal/hard rock band from Phoenix, Arizona, USA. Their debut album ‘The American Scream‘ was released in April 2012 on Dark Lord Records, produced by the band and British Grammy nominated producer Chris Tsangarides.
The band have just released a new video for the song ‘Paradise‘, shot, edited and directed by Tom Larkin. Check it out below:
Their triple axe onslaught fuses the pommeling riffage of thrash mavericks Metallica and the juicy melodic leads trademarked by Iron Maiden into the modern approach of bands like Bullet For My Valentine. Catchy choruses, mega hooks and vocals you can’t forget make ‘The American Scream‘ an effort bound to turn heads across the metal spectrum.
