Rock-solid Cologne-based madmen CHILD OF CAESAR dropped the inhuman ear-splitting track “Alive,” the killer first single from their upcoming new album. Explosive BLACKEND HARDCORE PUNK chaos magic: This incredibly intense five-piece thrashes with such animalistic, unbridled fury that it makes your skull vibrate like an industrial vibrator set to level 10.
Given the frenetic sense of anticipation surrounding this amazing band, COMBAT RECORDS is also pleased to announce its collaboration with Markus Eck and Metal Message, who will support the band and the label with PR and promotional activities surrounding the upcoming album and its single releases.
Label Press Statement:
“With their aggressive, raw sound and their vision, CHILD OF CAESAR are a perfect fit for the tradition and history of COMBAT RECORDS. ‘Alive’ marks the kickoff for CHILD OF CAESAR’s new album release and COMBAT RECORDS’ first release since its rebirth.
As a label, we’re proud to support and release a talented German band. Our collaboration with André and Patrick—from signing the band, through planning the release, to the release of ‘Alive’ itself—was harmonious, full of sometimes crazy ideas, and a bit chaotic—but ultimately successful, so that we as a label, together with the band, can look forward to the LP release.
We’re also grateful and appreciative of the support we’ve received from Metal Message and Markus Eck in promoting the upcoming LP release. Markus is an incredible bundle of energy, brimming with creativity and enthusiasm for the cause. The fact that Markus is always ready to give 100 %, fully identifies with COMBAT RECORDS, implements his ideas professionally, and brings a great deal of patience and understanding to the table was the deciding factor in choosing to work with him. Markus is the perfect complement for us at COMBAT RECORDS, both personally and professionally.”
Markus Eck of Metal Message comments:
“Working with COMBAT RECORDS feels absolutely great—as if, after many years, two things that belong together are finally coming together. I’ve been a fan of the label from the very beginning and picked up quite a few cult classics from their catalog back then—especially Agent Steel, Abattoir, Heathen and Megadeth. By signing CHILD OF CAESAR, this renowned company has demonstrated a keen eye for an immensely talented and promising band—I’m truly delighted about and looking forward to this collaboration.”

The band says about the new song:
“‘Alive’ is about freeing oneself from old beliefs, internalized traditions, and the blind hope for external salvation. It transforms misery and self-destruction into a kind of rebirth—the moment when you stop being a servant of man-made gods and moral commandments, find your own way out, and choose to live according to your own ideas.”
