Polish extreme metal legends VADER have announced a special European Anniversary Tour 2020, kicking off on March 7th in Osnabruck with guests DEFILED (Japan), CHRONOSPHERE (Greece) and FALLCIE (Russia). The tour is presented by Massive Music. Furthermore the band unveil that the new album is coming out on April 3rd, via Nuclear Blast.

Frontman Piotr “Peter” Wiwczarek stated:
“2020 will be so important and symbolic year for VADER. Besides new album, which will be released on 3.04.2020 by Nuclear Blast, three other records will celebrate their anniversary: “De Profundis” (25 years), “Litany” (20 years) and “The Art of War (15 years). All of them were very important moments in Vader long history.”

“Thy Messenger” was recorded over a week-long period in January and February at Hertz Studio in Białystok, Poland under the supervision of the Wiesławski Brothers. The cover art was painted by Wes Benscoter, who previously worked with VADER on the “De Profundis” LP and has collaborated with such bands as SLAYER, KREATOR and SINISTER.
