Apocalyptica has issued the following press release:
Hi there, 2011! The new year is almost exactly one month old and it’s time for the next movement of “7th Symphony”. Contrary to how the band feels, the upcoming single is called “Not Strong Enough” and Apocalyptica are all geared up for the next leg of the tour. Full speed ahead: Hyvää päivää, 2011!
“Not Strong Enough”. There has been a little confusion, hence a clarification. Of course, the song should have been released as a single in the version featuring Brent Smith, as announced here earlier. But Apocalyptica have gladly taken into account, that Brent has releases himself at this time, and they are all the more delighted, that Doug Robb of Hoobastank stepped in and was available for a video shoot as well. This way everybody won, because the new version of “Not Strong Enough” is fantastic. The trilogy consisting of “End Of Me”, “Broken Pieces” & “Not Strong Enough” is complete
– here’s a note from Eicca:
“’Not Strong Enough’ was one of the early songs in the process of producing ‘7th Symphony’. We are very proud of the song and happy to finally release the track as a single. Lisa Mann directed this video too – she is wonderful to work with. Every time I watch a video she did for us, I’m overwhelmed how her pictures support our ambition to deliver a fine balance between mysticism and romance with our music. The video for ‘Not Strong Enough’ is the second episode of a ‘video – trilogy’ – but go and check it out yourself!”
