Now the Wolves decided that they want to hear YOU play YOUR favourite Powerwolf track of all times! Grab your instrument (or microphone) and upload your cover version to Youtube. Submit your entry by posting the video publicly on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter, using the hashtag #PowerwolfCoverContest and tagging both the band and Napalm Records.
The band will check out ALL submissions and hand-pick the winner! The best entry will be shared by both the band and Napalm Records on their socials, added to a Powerwolf “The Metal Mass” Playlist on the Napalm Channel and also get a surprise pack by the band, including signed items!
Finland-based symphonic metal storytellers NIGHTWISH have announced a worldwide video contest to showcase the talents of their own fans, issues Nuclear Blast.
Sign language speakers/interpreters, jazz flutists, cellists, ukulele & theremin players, expert whistlers, vocalists, guitarists, bassists, drummers, and keyboard players alike: You are all invited to create a video for your very own cover version of the NIGHTWISH single “Elán”:
Prizes for three Grand Prize Winners & two Runners Up include NIGHTWISH t-shirts, posters, and autographed photo cards.
This contest ends on Thursday, April 10th. Winners will be announced on April 16th, 2015.
NIGHTWISH’s eighth studio album, Endless Forms Most Beautiful, will be released in North America on March 31st. Produced by Tero “TeeCee” Kinnunen, the title for Endless Forms Most Beautiful was taken from the writings of English naturalist Charles Darwin and includes adult & childrens choirs, collaborative work with esteemed orchestral arranger Pip Williams, and a guest appearance by evolutionary biologist, writer, and atheist Richard Dawkins.
The video for the album single “Elán” features some of Finland’s most beloved elderly actors & actresses and was shot in 11 days in eight abandoned Finnish locations by director Ville Lipiäinen.
