Bassist Peter London of Swedish Swedish glam rockers CRASHDIET underwent surgery earlier this week after he was diagnosed with spinal disc herniation. A herniated (slipped) disk occurs when all or part of a disk in the spine is forced through a weakened part of the disk. This places pressure on nearby nerves.
Writes London on Facebook: “Just woke up from surgery, feeling fine. Got some photos but I’ll show them later. All went just fine, lots of congratz to myself!”
As a result of London‘s surgery, CRASHDIET was forced to cancel its March 9 appearance at the Rock The Night festival in Lichtenfels, Germany and the following night’s concert at the Shout It Out Loud festival in Mülheim, Germany.
