Quality video footage of CRUCIFIED BARBARA‘s April 4 performance at La Dynamo in Toulouse, France can be seen below.

CRUCIFIED BARBARA‘s third studio album, “The Midnight Chase”, will be released on May 23 in Japan and May 28 in Europe. A North American release via Nuclear Blast is expected this summer. The CD was recorded at Music-A-Matic Vintage Recording Studio in Gothenberg, Sweden with sound engineer Henryk Lipp and producer Chips Kiesby.

Commented guitarist/vocalist Mia Coldheart: “I’ve never felt this good about anything we’ve made before. I’m so damn proud of the new songs and the sound is better than ever. We can’t wait to go on tour and perform them live!” Source: Blabbermouth.net

“Into The Fire”, the new ColdheArt.se-created video from Swedish all-girl hard rock quartet CRUCIFIED BARBARA, can be seen below. The song comes off the band’s third studio album, “The Midnight Chase”, which will be released on May 23 in Japan and May 28 in Europe. Swedish all-girl hard rock band CRUCIFIED BARBARA performed acoustic versions of two songs on this morning’s (Monday, August 1) edition of the “Nyhetsmorgon” program on Sweden’s TV4. You can now watch video footage of their appearance HERE.

Swedish all-girl hard rock band CRUCIFIED BARBARA will enter the studio this summer to begin recording its third full-length album for a late 2011 release. Helming the new CD will be producer Chips Kiesbye, who has previously worked with HELLACOPTERS, SAHARA HOTNIGHTS, MILLENCOLIN, NOMADS, WILMER X and BONAFIDE, among others.

In other news, CRUCIFIED BARBARA will play at several festivals this summer, including Hellfest in France, Norway Rock in Norway and the Stockholm Pride Festival in Sweden.

CRUCIFIED BARBARA‘s second full-length album, “Til Death Do Us Party”, was released in February 2009. The CD was produced by Mats Levén (THERION, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, KRUX, TREAT, AT VANCE, ABSTRAKT ALGEBRA) and features guest appearances by guitarist Phil Campbell (MOTÖRHEAD) and Mats Levén.

Meshuggah Drummer Marries Crucified Barbara Bassist

Drummer Tomas Haake of Swedish experimental extreme metallers MESHUGGAH married bassist Ida Evileye (real name: Ida Stenbacka) of the Swedish all-girl hard rock band CRUCIFIED BARBARA last week in Las Vegas, Nevada.

In a recent interview with Decibel magazine, Haake spoke about the progress of the songwriting sessions for MESHUGGAH’s follow-up 2008’s “obZen”.

Regarding the approach to the new music, the drummer said, “Maybe not try to be as anal about every single little hit [that] has to be super-tight but be more focused on the vibe of a track and let some of those tiny errors slip through. I think that kinda breeds a bit of life into a song.”

CRUCIFIED BARBARA is currently writing material for its third full-length album, tentatively due later in the year.

Swedish all-girl hard rock band Crucified Barbara, which is currently writing material for its third full-length album, will play a one-off show on December 2 at Café Opera in Stockholm, Sweden. Support at the gig will come from The Scams.
