DEAD LORD’s vocalist/guitarist Hakim Krim checked in with the following comment:

  “So a decade went by… And in all cheesyness, it does feel like it was yesterday. When we, a band only a few months old, flew down to Dublin to make the rock go. 10 days of hard rocking and way too many 5-euro-bloody-mary’s later, our debut album was finished. Thinking back on it now, it’s amazing to think of how that album led us down a path of tons of great things. All the great people we got to meet. All the cool (and weird) places we got to play. All the terrible hotels we got to endure. Who would’ve thunk?  
So let’s celebrate it. Here it is again. Goodbye Repentance. This time remastered by Dan Swanö for that little extra sweetness.  Available on orange vinyl. We also stuffed the digital and CD-release full of live goodies. Some old, some new. Enjoy!“

Today, Swedish supreme rockers DEAD LORD proudly release their new single ‘Sleeping My Day Away’. With this cover version, the guys take a bow to their Scandinavian colleagues from D-A-D!

“Defenders of the night and snoozers, unite! Here’s one fresh off the press that might sound familiar. Our fellow Scandinavians D-A-D cracked it quite some time ago, and we do agree that the nighttime sure is the right time. And the daytime is the not-so-ok-time. Here’s our take on their fine little nugget. Let us all sleep our days away, all in the name of rock!”

Speaking on their new EP, DEAD LORD guitarist and vocalist Hakim Krim finds the following words:

“Wax is the only thing that’s eternal! We know this as well as do you. So at last, here’s our latest single-gone-ep release, for you to enjoy. 6 tracks of something new, something old, something borrowed and something ice cold. A couple of unreleased tracks, homages to our fellow rockateers, if you will, along with some nuggets previously only digitally released, finally make their way to a face melting platter of rocking grooves. So even in the most dystopian of potential futures, where computers have long since lost to the nuclear storms, your record player will keep spinning. And rock will prevail!“
