The clip below, courtesy of Guitar Center, features a look at a limited edition DIMEBAG DARRELL Roots ML guitar made by Dean. Only 200 guitars were manufactured and feature a wooden razorblade inlay cut from the limb of an oak tree from Dimebag’s backyard.
It was recently reported that there seems to be lots of confusion out there about Dimebag Darrell, Dean and Washburn. Dean was Dime’s first love. Dean stopped making guitars in the early ’90s, so that’s when Dime went to Washburn. Dean Guitars was revived in the late ’90s. Once Dime had fulfilled his contractual obligation to Washburn, he made the move back to Dean. Sadly, it was only weeks before his death that his deal with Dean was signed.
