Nuclear Blast reports that The metal community will be invading Gelsenkirchen Amphitheater for the annual Rock Hard Festival on the upcoming Pentecost weekend. For anyone unable to attend the event, German national TV channel WDR is broadcasting a live stream of several bands, presented by its own genre based show Rockpalast.
Check out the bands at the following times: DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER: Friday, June 06 from 19.45 CET to 21.00 CET CARCASS: Saturday, June 07 from 21.30 CET to 23.00 CET BLUES PILLS: Sunday, June 08 from 13.00 CET to 13.40 CET
After the two high-energy smashers “Freitheit Gleichheit Brüderlichkeit” and “Was bleibt bin”, DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER now present another track from their new double album “Tief.Tiefer”, out on Nuclear Blast on May 30. “Die Zeit” is the band’s first ever acoustic song. Check it out here:
Commented the band: “The recording sessions had a truly magical, special atmosphere. Unlike the rough first part “Tief”, we decided to try new things with “Tiefer”, things that have been appealing to us for a long time now. Newly interpreting old classics and entering new paths without alienation gave us shivers each time. We asked our video team to just film during recordings. A sweaty, intense performance during our loud shows can be very addictive, but we also enjoy slowing down. It’s definitely cool to play, sitting down. We’re already looking forward to our acoustic tour in the spring of 2015. The dates will be announced this fall.”
The new album by DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER called »Tief.Tiefer« will be released on May 30, 2014 via Nuclear Blast.
