Euroblast Festival Announces Line-Up Changes

Due to logistical issues and plain old bad luck- both SCALE THE SUMMIT and JOHN BROWNE’S FLUX CONDUCT have dropped out of this years line-up. We will do our best to get them back in 2017.

We are happy to welcome Czech instrumental brainiacs MODERN DAY BABYLON and UK alterna-progsters NO CONSEQUENCE back to our stage. Both bands are no strangers to our festival and always push the envelope- on and off the stage!

These bands join an all-star billing featuring the best international artists Progressive Metal has to offer: ANIMALS AS LEADERS, VEIL OF MAYA, BETRAYING THE MARTYRS, DEAD LETTER CIRCUS, BORN OF OSIRIS, INTRONAUT and many more.

EUROBLAST FESTIVAL XII is will take place from September 30th to October 2nd 2016, to be held once again in the beautiful city of Cologne, Germany.

Celebrating it´s 12th edition – the EUROBLAST FESTIVAL has become synonymous with showcasing the best of cutting edge Progressive & Tech Metal Artists across the globe, and is considered to be a launching pad for many aspiring bands. Due to it´s unique and intimate atmosphere, the EUROBLAST FESTIVAL has become an annual highlight and meeting point for artists, instrument manufacturers, music industry reps, press and fans alike, attracting visitors from all over the world.

Previous editions of the EUROBLAST FESTIVAL have hosted a number of huge influential artists such as Meshuggah, Animals As Leaders, Tesseract and Sikth, and have brought more international exposure to younger acts such as Twelve Foot Ninja, The Algorithm, Uneven Structure and Monuments.

Germany’s EUROBLAST FESTIVAL – set to take place from September 30th to October 2nd 2016, in Cologne, Germany – have announced 23 new bands to to their line-up, making this years edition one of the best so far.

The new confimations include international scene giants such as INTRONAUT, SCALE THE SUMMIT, SKYHARBOR, SHINING and SITHU AYE.

These bands will join an already buldging at the seams line-up including spearheaded by ANIMALS AS LEADERS, VEIL OF MAYA, DEAD LETTER CIRCUS, BORN OF OSIRIS and HEART OF A COWARD.

CYNIC Confirm Euroblast Appearance

Cynic-Euroblast

The remaining members of CYNIC will headline Euroblast on October 3rd as scheduled. It is the only show that was salvageable from CYNIC‘s European tour, cancelled without the band’s consensus by a single member last week.

The CYNIC lineup for Euroblast is:

Matt Lynch (drums)

Festival organizers have issued the following message: We are happy to announce that CYNIC will play an EXCLUSIVE SHOW at Euroblast this year! Please read the statement from the band:

The remaining members of Cynic will headline Euroblast on October 3rd as scheduled. Many thanks to the fans, promoters, agents and others, working on behalf of the band to make this show happen. It is the only show that was salvageable from Cynic’s European tour, cancelled without the band’s consensus by a single member last week.

– Unfortunately Disperse have pulled out of Euroblast … but we are happy to announce that HEIGHTS will perform in their place. HEIGHTS recently won the PROG Limelight Award and features TesseracT guitarist Jay Postones.

Young Polish heavy hitters MATERIA will also join the Euroblast line-up- replacing  Onward with Love

The Euroblast Collective are proud to announce the third wave of artists confirmed to play EUROBLAST FESTIVAL X, taking place on October 2-3-4, 2014, in Cologne, Germany.
