A long-lost relic of Eastern European extreme metal resurfaces in definitive form, as F.O.A.D. Records present a newly remastered edition of FANTOM’s seminal demo material, now available on vinyl.
Remastered by Patrick Engel, this upgraded version captures the raw essence of one of Hungary’s earliest and most obscure black/thrash entities, often regarded as even darker and more sinister than their contemporaries.
This official reissue includes the band’s classic 1987 demo “Lucifer jelenj meg!”, now expanded with 7 additional tracks taken from a rare 1987 session not featured in the previous 2016 vinyl edition. The material has been re-transferred from a rediscovered tape – the best sounding source in existence – and meticulously remastered for vinyl by Patrick Engel at Temple Of Disharmony.
Drawing influence from bands such as Bathory, Possessed, Hellhammer, Venom and Slayer, FANTOM forged a primitive yet highly distinctive sound. Their songwriting is direct and unrefined, but steeped in a uniquely oppressive atmosphere of darkness, malevolence and occult tension.
The release comes as a silver laminated LP, including two inserts featuring lyrics, rare photographs and original artwork, preserving the band’s visual and sonic identity in full detail.
A crucial document of early black/thrash from behind the Iron Curtain: raw, obscure and essential for collectors and devotees of the genre’s darkest origins.
A cult chapter of Italian extreme metal history returns in its most complete form, as F.O.A.D. Records present the definitive archival collection of early material from LORD CRUCIFIER, “Cataclism”, now available as a gatefold 2xLP edition.
“Cataclism” – Gatefold 2xLP
An 18-track descent into pure psychotic thrash metal—self-described by the band as “psychic metal”—capturing the unhinged vision of these Italian maniacs who relocated to England during the 1980s in search of total sonic extremity.
This comprehensive release brings together the band’s early demo legacy and unreleased material, fully remastered at Toxic Basement Studio:
“Cataclism” Demo (1985)
“Myra’s Tape” (1987)
“Who Do You Trust” (1989)
Unreleased 3-track rehearsal/demo (1990)
Across these recordings, LORD CRUCIFIER’s evolution is laid bare—from raw, dark thrash steeped in Venom and Celtic Frost influences to a more personal and deranged style defined by speed, fractured structures and psychotic riffing intensity.

The release comes as a deluxe gatefold 2xLP edition accompanied by a 24-page full-color booklet, designed by Rich M. Walker (The Metalchemist). The booklet includes rare photographs, flyers, scans of original demo tapes, and archival excerpts from underground magazines and fanzines.
A vital document of a band that turned chaos into identity, now unearthed and preserved by F.O.A.D. Records. Essential listening for devotees of extreme, unfiltered thrash in its most disturbed form.
F.O.A.D. Records proudly announces the simultaneous release of two massive archival chapters dedicated to one of Los Angeles’ most influential and uncompromising grindcore institutions: NAUSEA. Together, these releases form a comprehensive document of the band’s non-album history, spanning their earliest years through their later, more experimental and industrial-tinged phase, finally bringing their complete underground legacy into a unified and meticulously curated format.
NAUSEA – “World Struggle: Extended Edition”
Gatefold 2xLP + Bonus 7″ / Double CD Digipack
This expanded and upgraded edition is a deep dive into NAUSEA’s formative years from 1987 to 1992, presenting the most complete and definitive collection of the band’s early recordings to date. With over one hour of additional material compared to the previous 2013 edition, “World Struggle: Extended Edition” stands as a brutal historical document of Los Angeles grindcore at its most raw and influential.
This era captures the band’s lethal mix of old-school grindcore, crust punk ferocity, and early death metal heaviness, with unmistakable ties to TERRORIZER’s legendary “World Downfall”. In fact, a significant portion of the material that would later define that classic album originated in NAUSEA, the previous and current band of vocalist Oscar Garcia.
This collection includes:
The cult split tape with TERRORIZER (1988)
“Psychological Conflict” EP (1990)
The ultra-rare “Mind Dead” demo (1990)
“Tumor” demo (1992)
“Breed” demo (1992)
Various rehearsals from 1987–1990
The “Live Crime” tape (1991)
Spanning an overwhelming 49 tracks, this is corrosive, doomy, death metal-tinged grindcore, driven by whirlwind blast beats and the crushing, mosh-heavy riffs that helped define an entire generation of extreme music.
The vinyl edition comes as a gatefold 2xLP with a bonus 7”, featuring two rare 1987 rehearsal tracks, along with completely revamped artwork and a 16-page booklet filled with vintage flyers and fanzine excerpts. The LP version is limited to 300 copies, with 250 on black vinyl and 150 on marbled cobalt blue/grey vinyl.
The double CD edition is presented in a 6-panel deluxe digipack with a 16-page booklet.

Gatefold 2xLP / Double CD Digipack
This release represents Chapter #2 in F.O.A.D.’s mission to reissue NAUSEA’s entire non-album discography, serving as the perfect counterpart to the earlier-era anthology. Covering the years 1998 to 2006, “Exile to Confinement: The Forgotten Demo Years Collection” gathers all of the band’s later recordings, capturing a period where their sound evolved beyond classic grindcore into darker, more abrasive and industrial-infused territory.
The collection includes the following sessions:
“One Lie” (unreleased demo, 1998)
“Self Rejection” demo
Studio rehearsal (January 13, 2002)
“Control” / “Absence of War” demos (2002)
Split 7″ with UNHOLY GRAVE
“Who Would Surrender?” demo (2003)
“Images of Abuse” demo (2006)
Across 27 tracks, the anthology showcases a volatile blend of classic LA grindcore roots, crust punk hostility, death metal weight, and a distinct industrial grind edge that set this era of NAUSEA apart from their peers.
The vinyl edition comes as a deluxe gatefold 2xLP with a foldout 11”x22” insert featuring scans of the original demo artwork and releases. The LP version is limited to 300 copies, with 250 on black vinyl and 150 on marbled yellow/red vinyl.
The double CD edition is housed in a 6-panel deluxe digipack and includes a 12-page booklet packed with archival material.
