Italian AVELION has checked in with the following update:

Avelion welcomes bassist Mark “Satir” Reggiani into the band with new guitarist Gianmarco Soldi and new drummer Damiano Gualtieri, substituting for Alessio Massimo who has decided to step away from the band.

“We are very excited about the new material” says vocalist William “Haarp” Verderi “The new line up has created an intensive and killer mix of metal sound and the collaborations with our friend Olaf Thorsen (Vision Divine, Labyrith) makes the single Falling Down as a bridge between progressive power metal and our genre NexTo Metal”.

“In the last year we have focused our attention on the research of a modern sound” says the keyboardist Oreste Giacomini.
