Swedish Heavy Metal masters WOLF announce their return with a new studio album entitled ‘Shadowland’! The album is set to be released through Century Media on April 1st, 2022! It is their 9th studio effort and the follow up to the 2020 release “Feeding The Machine”.
The artwork was once again handled by the one and only Thomas Holm (Mercyful Fate, King Diamond). Pre-Order will start on January 28th, 2022!
Swedish heavy metal masters WOLF had to cancel their European 2020 tour with GRAND MAGUS in March, which was in support of their newest release, “Feeding The Machine”, due to the COVID 19 pandemic. Today the band posted a video of their song ‘Evil Star – The 2020 Social Isolation Edition’ online, which you can watch below. ‘Evil Star’ is a self titled track which was released in 2004 and is a favourite of the fans.
The band posted the following statement:
“In mid-March we were forced to cut our European tour short due to the outbreak of the Corona pandemic.
Now our fingers are seriously itching to play again and we especially miss playing live for you all! As a little treat to ourselves and to all you guys we decided to record an old Wolf classic that we were planning on bringing back in to the live set.
Each one recording in his own studio and set up a camera while doing it.
So here ladies and gentlemen, is ‘Evil Star – The 2020 social isolation edition’.

WOLF released their newest album, “Feeding The Machine” on on 13 March 2020 via Century Media Records. It is the band’s first album featuring new members, Johan Koleberg on drums and Pontus Egberg on bass guitar. The album was produced by Simon Johansson and mixed and mastered by Fredrik Nordström.
Today Swedish heavy metal masters WOLF release the title track of their upcoming album ‘Feeding the Machine’. The video has been directed by Daniel Wahlström of Heavy Groove Media.
The band states: “Enter ‘Feeding the Machine’ – our third single and second video from the album ‘Feeding the Machine’. The song and lyrics are written by Niklas Stålvind and produced by Simon Johansson at SolnaSound Records. The video was produced by Iranian metal man Mohsen “Stargazer” Fayazi of Stargazer MultiMedia who is also Chief Editor of MetalShockFinland. You can watch the video below.
