AMARANTHE started filming its second video today with acclaimed director Patric Ullaeus of Revolver Film Company, who has previously worked with DIMMU BORGIR, LACUNA COIL, IN FLAMES, SONIC SYNDICATE and KAMELOT, among others.

Commented Mörck: “After the immense response to the ‘Hunger’ video, receiving close to 100,000 views in a few weeks, we have quite big shoes to fill with the new video — but Patric’s ideas are pure genius, as always, [and] his working methods are spontaneous and flexible but always fit our own vision perfectly. First day of filming was a blast, and we can’t wait to share the result with all of you guys!”

AMARANTHE will release its self-titled debut album in Europe on April 13 via Spinefarm Records.

Finnish “battle metal” warriors TURISAS filmed a video for the song “Stand Up And Fight” earlier today (Monday, February 7) in the California desert with director Iain Sclater. Influenced by the film “Mad Max” and the band’s own image, the clip is sure to provide a thrilling new look at TURISAS in the band’s first-ever U.S.-shot music video.

“Stand Up And Fight” is the title track of TURISAS‘ third album, which will be released via Century Media Records on the following dates:

Finland, Japan: February 23
Germany, Austria, Switzerland: February 25
Rest Of Europe: February 28
Australia, New Zealand: March 4
North America: March 8
