MEGADETH on the red carpet

MEGADETH won a Grammy in the “Best Metal Performance” category at the 59th annual Grammy Awards, held last night (Sunday, February 12) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. This was the band’s 12th Grammy nomination and first win for the song “Dystopia”.

The nominees in the “Best Metal Performance” category were as follows:

BARONESS – “Shock Me”
GOJIRA – “Slivera”
KORN – “Rotting in Vain”
MEGADETH – “Dystopia”
PERIPHERY – “The Price Is Wrong”
