This weekend, for the second time, Swedish legends IN FLAMES are setting fire to the Borgholm Castle with their Festival, BORGHOLM BRINNER (Borgholm Is Burning), where the band are holding their annual festival on the isle of Öland/Sweden and will unite Jesterheads from all over the world.
In order to gear up for the festival, the band has unveiled a lyric video to the opening track ‘Voices’, off their latest album »I, The Mask«, that you can watch here:
Singer Anders Fridén comments: “It feels like yesterday we were discussing the idea of doing our own festival, and now we’re here at the second year of Borgholm Brinner. We feel incredibly lucky to bring this festival to our fans again this year and have beefed up every experience from the IN FLAMES Gin Bar to the specially brewed Borgholm beer and have even included a few more surprises during the show. Thanks to all of the Jesterheads for making this possible, see you this weekend!”

Just recently, Swiss Metallers FUELED BY FEAR joined the Swedish death metal heroes, IN FLAMES, as main support, on their tour in St.Petersburg (April 23rd) and Moscow (April 25th)! Today the band has unleashed a video clip “Born in Hell”, filmed from the shows and backstage. The song comes out from their latest EP “This Forsaken Place”, released on February 11th 2019 via Ashburn Records.

FUELED BY FEAR, was formed in late 2011, under the name of “BLOOD BOUND”, featuring members out of formerly well known bands, such as ‘Ex- ortation’, ‘Die by Design’, ‘Framestand’ and ‘Disparaged’. Their debut full length album “Two By Eight” was released on December 16th 2016 by Ashburn Productions. After the album release, the band played a lot of Club shows in Switzerland. The Album hit the Swedish Rock Charts place 5 and entered the Swiss Charts too. The band has toured with SEPULTURA (on their Baltic Tour in March 2012) and IN FLAMES (on their Russian minitour in 2013). FUELED BY FEAR released their new EP “This Forsaken Place” on February 11th 2019 via Ashburn Records.
After concluding their European headline tour, IN FLAMES are ready for the summer festival season to begin! For the second time, the band is about to hold their annual festival, BORGHOLM BRINNER, in the Borgholm Castle on the isle of Öland/Sweden and will unite Jesterheads from all over the world. On August 2nd and 3rd, 2019, BORGHOLM BRINNER will celebrate its second round. Unfortunately, ARCHITECTS were forced to cancel this year’s performance due to logistical reasons, but Norway’s punk ‘n rollers TURBONEGRO will step in. Therefore, the new line-up looks as listed below:
