James Rivera‘s love for metal is undeniable, but his heart is also beating for the darker side of music, especially for new as well as dark wave and goth – and JAMES RIVERA’S METAL WAVE perfectly combines the best of those genres!

Today, the band released its new single “Love My Way”, their very own take on the song originally performed by The Psychedelic Furs.

The song is also a harbinger of the band’s upcoming debut album, which is expected to be released in 2023 via Massacre Records.

JAMES RIVERA did it again, and sunk his teeth into Massacre Records – this time with his band JAMES RIVERA’S METAL WAVE!

His love for metal is undeniable, but his heart is also beating for the darker side of music, especially for new as well as dark wave and goth – and JAMES RIVERA’S METAL WAVE perfectly combines the best of those genres!

James Rivera comments:
“For those who love 80’s new wave and/or 80’s metal, stand in the light of the darkness and testify… your time is at hand! Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome a new genre: Metal Wave!”

Vocalist James is joined by guitarists Larry Barragan, Maurice Eggenschwiler and Jan Kimmel, bassist Garrick Smith as well as drummer Rene Luna.

JAMES RIVERA’S METAL WAVE’s debut album is expected to be released in 2023 via Massacre Records.
