On Tuesday, German thrash titans KREATOR delivered an exclusive live performance on the German late-night show “Circus HalliGalli” together with two very special singers on stage: For the song ‘Satan Is Real’, Papa Emeritus III of GHOST as well as DRANGSAL front man Max Gruber joined Mille Petrozza and his hellish team and delivered a performance to remember! “It was an absolute honor and a lot of fun to have such amazing artists as Max Gruber and Papa as guests on ‘Satan is Real’. We will never forget this night of diabolic love!”, states KREATOR mastermind Mille.

KREATOR‘s recent album, “Gods Of Violence”, smashed charts worldwide after its release on January 27 and entered the German charts on #1. It won three soundchecks (Metal Hammer, Rock Hard and Legacy) and hit a total of 29(!) magazine covers in Europe!

VADER, released their crushing new album “The Empire” on November 4th via Nuclear Blast, and once again proved that their merciless riffs are made to unleash hell. Without doubt, “The Empire” falls under the category of VADER’s classic albums. The impressive monument that they have built with their 13th studio album immediately found its place in metal history and proves that VADER don’t need to make their peace with the world; they never did, and they certainly don’t now with “The Empire” – especially after writing more than 30 years’ worth of Death Metal history.
“The Empire” was recorded at Hertz Studios in Bialystok, Poland and produced by Wojtek and Slawek Wiesawski. The stunning cover artwork was created by Joe Petagno (Led Zeppelin, Motörhead, Sodom).

Anything from the Beatles to Kate Bush, I listen to everything all kinds of music. I don’t really think about it, when i write an album it’s very spontaneous. I absorb a lot of music, I try not to sound like anyone else.
On how his music is a reflection of the world war events
I write about stuff that moves me on the inside , once my lyrics are done i can see it mirroring reality. A lot of artist write about personnel stuff, i do write personnel stuff but its very hidden. I avoid current events to pop up in my lyrics saying names or mentioning places or attacking certain people, I try to keep it more general and maybe that’s why we could take Gods of violence as the soundtrack to the Syrian war, whereas as you could have taken Phantom Antichrist as the soundtrack of whatever was going on then. All my lyrics are reflective of stuff that is actually happening

Gods Of Violence was recorded under the watchful eyes of producer Jens Bogren (OPETH, AMON AMARTH, KATATONIA) who also mixed the record at renowned Fascination Street Studios. Mastering was also completed at Fascination Street Studios by Tony Lindgren.
