CHRIST AGONY: “Legacy” Out Now and Streaming

The great new album “Legacy” of the Polish black metal legends CHRIST AGONY was unleased yesterday (November 18th) to the masses, via Witching Hour Productions. The album is also streaming exclusively on Musickmagazine.pl, at this location!  – Enjoy!

Polish Legends CHRIST AGONY – formed in 1990 – established since the beginning the leading edge of black metal scene and genre. The band’s debut full-length album “Unholyunion” was released in 1993, which became one of the most original and significant recordings in the world of black metal. November 18th 2016 marked the return of Cezar & CHRIST AGONY in all their glory! The album, entitled “Legacy” (via Witching Hour Productions) contains seven hymns summoning the old days, the atmosphere of the band’s first three albums. With Daray (Dimmu Borgir, Vesania, Hunter) behind the drums “Legacy” delivers crushing and excellent piece of black metal. The album was recorded in Studio 666 in Morag under the watchful eye (and ear) of Michal Grabowski. The cover art was designed by Black Team Media.

Polish black metal legends CHRIST AGONY are set to release their new album “Legacy” on November 18th via Witching Hour Productions. The band has now unleashed the first track “Seal Ov The Black Flame” from the album. Stream it below:

MYRATH Kick Off Their First Headlining European Tour, Release New Lyric Video

This week sees the start of MYRATH’s first ever headlining tour throughout Europe. Kicking off in Munich, Germany on September 25th, the “Legacy Tour 2016” will take the Tunisian metal band from Germany to the Netherlands, from France to Bulgaria and Romania.

Having already supported bands such as Symphony X, HIM and W.A.S.P., it is about time for MYRATH to introduce their unique and effortless fusion of bombastic progressive metal and traditional oriental tunes on their own headlining shows.

The band is celebrating their upcoming live dates by premiering the lyric video for their song “Endure The Silence” – taken from their recent studio album “Legacy”, out via earMusic. Once again, Myrath surprise with a powerful, one of a kind video that sets the bar in regards to storytelling, quality and – of course – musically. The video definitely fuels the excitement for Myrath’s energetic live performance and strengthens Myrath’s position as one of the biggest metal revelations.

PRAYING MANTIS To Release Limited Vinyl LP Versions Of “Sanctuary” And “Legacy”

Formed in 1974, PRAYING MANTIS were an important part of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal movement, along with bands such as IRON MAIDEN (whose some ex-members used to be PRAYING MANTIS members as well), DIAMOND HEAD or SAXON. The band disbanded in the middle of the ’80s, and returned in the early ’90s with more hard rock and melodic Metal oriented releases. Their last two studio albums, “Sanctuary” from 2009 and the newest one, “Legacy” from 2015, which were originally released by Frontiers Records on CD, will be reissued as limited edition vinyl albums through No Remorse Records, and will be available on June 20, 2016. Both albums will be available as double LPs (with fourth side being etched), packed in deluxe gatefold sleeves, and bothe will be limited to 300 copies only.

earMUSIC is proud to announce the cooperation with its French partner label VeryCords for the release of the new studio album by the progressive metal band MYRATH.

‘Legacy’ is a interesting album, not only for the undisputable impeccable and inspired playing, for the freshness of the songwriting and for the powerful production but because it is one of the very few examples of metal music mixing oriental & cultural influences that rarely meet in the genre.

MYRATH (meaning “Legacy“) are in fact coming from Tunisia, a wonderful country mostly known for its Mediterranean beauty but certainly not for its heavy rock.
In an historical moment where different cultures, different religions seem to be afraid of each other, once again music brings people together.
What a refreshing and mysterious experience it is, to enjoy a band who has clearly admired the works of masters of the genres as Dream Theater and Stratovarius, adding the unique oriental harmonic touch coming from their history.

MYRATH will tour Europe supporting Symphonx X.
