Ever wanted to know what the crushed hopes and dreams of despondent unmatched socks are? Well, a few mismatching socks made a METALLICA cover band, ‘Lintallica’, to express just that. That’s a metal outfit you won’t forget.
You may remember the Sock Puppet Parody of Slayer’s Raining Blood, now there’s one for Metallica’s Master of Puppets. The song describes a lost sock that gets a shot at redemption when the master of puppets brings him to life. Check it out below.
The stage in the Lintellica video bares a striking resemblance to that of the 1989 Justice for All tour, but includes a tribute to Cliff Burton.
Lintellica’s Master of Sock Puppets video was shot at Gas Monkey Live, a Dallas venue that has hosted bands like Mötley Crüe, Misfits, and Gwar.
This band proves that puppets and metal can most certainly be a thing.
