SCELERATA: Making Of “The Sniper”

Brazilian metal band Scelerata posted the first part of the video footage with the recordings of their third album, entitled “The Sniper”. The album was produced by Charlie Bauerfiend (Motörhead, Helloween, Blind Guardian, Halford, Angra, Rage, among others) and Renato Osorio, and had its drum tracks recorded in Blind Guardian’s studio, the Twilight Hall Studios in Germany. The band recently announced on its official website the new song “Must Be Dreaming,” which was composed by vocalist Andi Deris (Helloween) especially for the band. Not only did Andi write the song, he also sings, sharing vocals with Fabio Juan, Scelerata’s singer. Check it out here: www.scelerata.com

The first in a series of webisodes featuring behind-the-scenes footage from the making of “Stones Grow Her Name”, the new album from Finnish melodic metallers SONATA ARCTICA, can be seen below. Due on May 18 via Nuclear Blast Records, the CD was recorded in several studios all over Finland, mixed at Sonic Pump Studios by Mikko Karmila and mastered at Chartmakers by Svante Forsbäck. The effort will be released as a limited-edition digipak, standard jewel case, vinyl and download.

The fifth in a series of webisodes featuring behind-the-scenes footage from the making of “Sounds Of A Playground Fading”, the tenth album from Swedish metallers IN FLAMES, can be viewed below.

“Sounds Of A Playground Fading” will be released via Century Media Records on the following dates:

Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Norway: Friday, June 17
Finland, Hungary: Wednesday, June 22
Spain, Italy: Tuesday, June 21
Rest Of Europe: Monday, June 20
North America: Tuesday, June 21
Australia, New Zealand: Friday, June 24

The new issue of Germany’s Rock Hard magazine — which is scheduled to come out on Wednesday, June 15 — will include a special IN FLAMES compilation featuring two brand new songs, “Deliver Us” and “Enter Tragedy”, as well as six additional tracks (including two rare live songs) from the band’s back catalogue.

Behind-the-scenes footage from the making of “Deliver Us”, the new video from Swedish metallers IN FLAMES, can be viewed below. The clip was filmed a few weeks ago at the Göteborgshjulet (The Wheel of Gothenburg) in Gothenburg, Sweden with director Patric Ullaeus of Revolver Film Company, who has previously worked with DIMMU BORGIR, LACUNA COIL, SAMAEL, SONIC SYNDICATE and KAMELOT, among others.
