Italian bass master and composer ALBERTO RIGONI (solo, BAD AS, Bassists Alliance Project, Vivaldi Metal Project, The Italians, Kim Bingham) has just announced a new solo album, “Odd Times”, featuring drummer Marco Minnemann and a guitarist who will be announced soon. “Dear friends,
first of all, I wish you and your families a great 2020 (a bit in late!)!
After a mystic music crisis…. at the end I’ve decided to start composing a new progressive solo album (the 9th). It will be called “Odd Times” and that says all.. also because it will feature the legendary monster drummer Marco Minnemann (The Aristocrats) again. It will be a trio so there will be also a guitarist that I will announce soon.

He is an Italian bass player and composer, internationally known for his career as a solo artist and as a member of the metal band BAD AS, The Italians, Lady & THE BASS, co-producer of the Vivaldi Metal Project and ex member progressive rock band TwinSpirits (no more active). His solo albums, released worldwide between 2008 and 2019): Something Different, Rebirth, Three Wise Monkeys, Overloaded, Bassorama, Duality and EvoRevolution, Prog Injection, floating between progressive rock metal and fusion, also featured by legendary musicians such as Kevin Moore (ex Dream Theater), Gavin Harrison (Porcupine Tree, King Crimson), Göran Edman (ex Yngwie Malmsteen), Michael Manring, Marco Minnemann (The Aristocrats, Paul Gilbert) and many others.
