The Prime mover heavy metal band VANEXA is proud to announce the entrance of Pier Gonella as a guitarist. Pier is a very skilled metal guitarist who can already boast a long career, and who still has major projects with Necrodeath and Mastercastle. He joins Roberto Tiranti (vocals) who had the opportunity to share the stage with when Pier entered Labyrinth replacing Olaf Thorsen.

Modern Music Institute Sarzana presents the Masterclass with the great MIKE TERRANA, a drummer from the most representative Rock/Metal-scenes, famous throughout the world for his extraordinary technical ability, speed, touch and independence of the four limbs.
Born in the United States and moved to Europe in 1997, Mike Terrana has played over the years with many international artists such as Yngwie Malmsteen, Tony MacAlpine, Steve Lukather, Rage, Gamma Ray, Masterplan and many others, he is currently a member of the bands of Tarja Turunen (ex-leadsinger of Nightwish) and Axel Rudy Pell.
The Masterclass is up to 25 people (so reservations are required) and will provide an intense face-to-face and an opportunity to learn the techniques and secrets of one of the drummers who made the history of Rock/Metal drumming for the last 25 years.
The event will be held on Sunday 4th november, at 16:30 at the headquarters of Modern Music Institute of Sarzana (SP), located in Via Aurelia No. 100.

It’s official: MUSICART PROJECT is born. Directly from MUSICART recording studio and music school, from Rapallo (Italy). It involves members of NECRODEATH and MASTERCASTLE, such as Peso on drums, Pier Gonella on guitars, Giorgia Gueglio on vocals, Steve Vawamas on bass, and Andrea Vulpani on keyboards. Members of both bands, are music teachers inside MUSICART.
The project was born from an idea of Pier and Peso at the end of 2011. The idea was to re-arrange a tribute to famous album “The dark side of the moon” from Pink Floyd, in a more heavy way. So after some rehearsing at MUSICART recording studios, during last summer this idea became a full length album, titled “The black side of the moon”. It will be released later this year by Black Tears. So stay tuned!
