Cult death metal pioneers NECROPHAGIA have seen footage streaming from their current “Chaos Raids” tour. The band’s full set was shot by Frank Huang at the Cobra Lounge in Chicago, and can be seen below. The “Chaos Raids” tour also sees a headlining performance by 1349, featuring VATTNET VISKAR, and includes BLACK ANVIL, ATRIARCH, and EARLY GRAVES on select dates. A full list of confirmed tour dates can be found below.

NECROPHAGIA is touring in support of their new album, ‘WhiteWorm Cathedral. The album, which has been called “Simple, sick and heavy” (Metal Injection), and “career-defining, solid, consistent work which brings together thirteen tracks, drawn from one source of inspiration yet each performed to stand out among one another.” (Sputnik Music), is streaming here.

Norwegian black metal tyrants 1349 and cult death metal pioneers NECROPHAGIA have announced special guests for different regions of the new North American “Chaos Raids” tour. The “Chaos Raids” tour kicks off on May 30 and includes VATTNET VISKAR. Added to the tour are BLACK ANVIL for the performances in Baltimore and Brooklyn, ATRIARCH in Seattle and Portland, and EARLY GRAVES will be performing in Oakland and San Diego respectively. A full list of confirmed tour dates can be found below.

Horror-obsessed death metal maniacs NECROPHAGIA have released the second new track from their highly-anticipated new album ‘WhiteWorm Cathedral’, on Season Of Mist. The new track, titled “Reborn through Black Magic” is streaming now at Revolver Magazine, HERE.

Formed in 1983, NECROPHAGIA were one of the very first death metal bands in the United States. Often considered pioneers in the “Horror Metal” genre, the band gained notoriety after cutting their teeth in the underground by staging ambitious live shows, chalk full of blood, guts and gore. The band went on to receive world-wide acclaim for their 1998 release of ‘Holocausto de la Morte’, the band’s genre-defining album featuring PANTERA frontman PHIL ANSELMO. Following the landmark album, NECROPHAGIA went on to release several well-received full lengths and EPs, including the highly-sought-after ‘Cannibal Holocaust’ EP (2001).
