Be sure to head over to Revolver Magazine as the site premieres the second single, Bullshit and Backstabbing, off Swedish sleaze and punk influenced metal band SISTER’s upcoming album HATED (out June 3/6 in Europe). The magazine is also premiering the latest teaser video for SISTER that features clips of all tracks off the upcoming release to give metalheads worldwide a taste of what’s to come on the band’s Metal Blade debut. The band comments on the new single Bullshit and Backstabbing: “Pretty much all of our songs takes form in the rehearsal and Bullshit and Backstabbing was no exception. It’s a song with an ‘up yours’ mentality and fits us as a band perfectly. It’s a fast track compared to the title track and we knew right from the start that this was goin’ to be one of the band’s favorite songs on the album. When we took it into the studio it really turned out exactly the way we wanted it to and working together with Martin Sweet (Crashdïet) and Calle Fäldt (Deranged) was really the best way we could have done for this album. Recording the guitars and bass in the studio in Staffanstorp in the southern part of Sweden and vocals in Sweet’s studio in Stockholm gave us the possibility to focus on the right things while recording; a lot of stress because of a really tight schedule, but with a result that turned out really fucking great!”

About the band:
SISTER, who hails from Stockholm/Jönkoping Sweden, formed in early 2006 working hard to build up a name as a strong act both live and in the studio. SISTER consists of 4 members- Jamie on vocals, Lestat on guitars and backing vocals, Rikki on bass and backing vocals, and Cari on drums and backing vocals- who combine the sounds of Punk, Glam, Rock, and Metal with an end result sounding something like the bastard child of GG Allin and Guns N’ Roses.
