Artistically and aesthetically deeply rooted in the Seventies the Valeta brothers Armand Valeta (vocals and rhythm guitar) and LG Valeta (lead guitar) founded ’77 (pronounced Seventy Seven) as a direct reflection of the concept of the era they love. Over the past years ’77, who are hailing from Spain, didn’t just make a name for themselves with their studio recordings, but particularly with their high energy live shows that secured them countless European tours with the likes of diverse bands such as Bullet or Audrey Horne. They already have heavy touring lined up around the release of their upcoming album, “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us”, which is due for a release October 30th, 2015, via Century Media Records. The album was produced by Jaime Gomez Arellano who has worked with diverse artists such as Paradise Lost, Ghost, Ulver or Cathedral. The band will head out with Michael Schenker’s Temple of Rock, Danko Jones as well as their friends and label mates Dead Lord. Please see a full list of dates underneath.

“It’s Alright” is a straight forward ’77 song based on a heavy, rocking riff and perfectly represents us and our sound. The music somewhat disguises that its lyrics are actually dealing with a lot of anger and frustration and the song can be understood as our personal call to action: Don’t just go the easy way, don’t just say “It’s Alright” and remain ignorant to what is happening around you.

“Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us” was produced by Jaime Gomez Arellano who has worked with diverse artists such as Paradise Lost, Ghost, Ulver or Cathedral. Barcelona based retro 70’s rockers 77 are set to release their new effort “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us” on October 30th, via Century Media Records. Furthermore the band will support MICHAEL SCHENKER’S TEMPLE OF ROCK this fall.

Founded by the Valeta brothers, ’77 (pronounced Seventy Seven) reflects the ideology and musical concept of the Seventies, an era they artistically and aesthetically feel comfortable with and truly at home. Over the past years ’77 didn’t just make a name for themselves with their studio recordings, but particularly with their high energy live shows that secured them countless European tours with the likes of diverse bands such as Bullet or Audrey Horne.

Since playing live is one of their fortes ’77 are happy to announce supporting Michael Schenker’s Temple of Rock on selected shows of their upcoming tour in the fall.

The tour perfectly matches the release of ’77’s upcoming album “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us” that is due to be released October 30th, 2015. “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us” was produced by Jaime Gomez Arellano who has worked diverse artists such as Paradise Lost, Ghost, Ulver or Cathedral.
