While the two songs previously released, “In Extremis” and “Forest”, were exploring two contrasting facets of “Digital Noise Alliance”, “Behind The Walls” offers a deep dive into QUEENSRŸCHE’s trademark sound.
The band comments: “It is a story about those in crisis dealing with various forms of abuse. The protagonist is faced with the dichotomy of reconciling a lifetime of devout faith, while suffering immense abuse with no intervention.”
Right after the release of “Digital Noise Alliance” the band will embark on another tour opening for the mighty Judas Priest on their “50 Heavy Metal Years” US tour.
With a career that not only spans, but has charted the course of multiple genres, QUEENSRŸCHE remains a force in their own right. “Digital Noise Alliance”, QUEENSRŸCHE’s 16th studio album continues their ever-evolving legacy.
Once again teaming up with producer Zeuss (Rob Zombie, Hatebreed), “Digital Noise Alliance” not only refracts QUEENSRŸCHE’s past accomplishments but also pushes into the band’s future. It is the band effortlessly moving from strength to strength: immediate and thought-provoking.
After releasing the heavy “In Extremis” QUEENSRŸCHE are showing a very different side with “Forest”, the latest single and emotional video taken from their upcoming album, “Digital Noise Alliance ”, that will be out October 7th. The video can be watched HERE.
The band comments:
“The ballad of the album, ‘Forest’ embodies the sorrow of losing a loved one, trying to cope with such a profound loss, while occasionally feeling that person’s presence around you and asking for a sign. It is a topic very relatable to people, as we will all at some point experience the great loss of a parent, child, sibling, spouse, or dear friend.”
The following formats will be available for “Digital Noise Alliance” with first pre-orders already online: Vinyl: Gatefold black 2LP, 2.000x Gatefold lilac 2LP – available at US outlets, 500x Gatefold Side A/B split (white & blue) 2LP – available at CM Distro Wholesale EU and CMDistro.de, 500x Gatefold Side A/B split (black & silver), 2LP – available only at EMP, 500x Gatefold glow in the dark 2LP – available only from QUEENSRŸCHE CD: Ltd. Get a first taste of QUEENSRŸCHE‘s upcoming “Digital Noise Alliance” with “In Extremis” that is out on all digital platforms as well as by watching the video HERE.
The band comments:
“This song is about being on your deathbed surrounded by your loved ones. Clinging to the last sense available, letting them know you will still be hearing them after correspondence or perceived consciousness is visible. Other conceptual metaphors flash in and out, taking note of a world that will not bend to accommodate such suffering, a universe of mockery, and a universe void of such abilities.”
Right after the release of “Digital Noise Alliance” the band will embark on another tour opening for the mighty Judas Priest on their “50 Heavy Metal Years” tour.
QUEENSRYCHE Interview- Michael Wilton, Eddie Jackson, Todd LaTorre, New Album Update Live on The Metal Voice, today, April 18 2021. The band joins the conversation on location at their rehearsals space.
Progressive rock/metal sensation METHODICA have teamed up with Metal Shock Finland to premiere for Finnish territory their new official lyric video for “A Dystopian Tale”, feat. Queensryche’s TODD LA TORRE.
METHODICA are back with a new exploration of progressive rock/metal for your ears, second single off the band’s upcoming third record ‘Clockworks’, to be released worldwide October 2nd. Dark and hypnotic drums bringing lights and shadows, massive guitar riffs drawing futuristic images, electronic sounds and modern dubstep samples: “A Dystopian Tale” takes you to a world where humans are ruled and controlled by thinking machines, and technology is suddenly an enemy instead of a friend. The track features an extraordinary performance of Queensryche’s very own Todd La Torre on vocals which makes it unmissable for any prog lover.
Watch the lyric video here:
Band’s singer Max Piubelli commented: “The track is about a dystopian dark future, where machines rule over mankind. That’s only imagination, but you can find a clear connection with the current human addiction to technology. We asked Todd La Torre to be featured on “A Dystopian Tale” during our 2017 European tour as support for Queensryche. The song felt perfect for a duet, and Todd’s voice was just what the mood of the song needed. He enthusiastically accepted, and when we heard his vocal sessions we were left absolutely amazed. We are very proud of what we’ve achieved here, hope you’re going to love it too.”
Rock icons QUEENSRŸCHE release their new lyric video for “Inner Unrest”. Watch the video below. The track is off their most recent full-length album, The Verdict , which came out March 2019 via Century Media Records.
“‘Inner Unrest’ is an abstract characterization loosely based on the struggles dealing with PTSD. The internal and external battles one must fight daily,” states Queensryche frontman Todd LaTorre about the track.
