REESE

Italian melodic post-grunge outfit REESE return with Live Unplugged at The Hub Studios, a special two song EP featuring acoustic versions of “Post-It” and “Wait for the Day”, originally included on their critically acclaimed album Long Streets.

Rather than simply revisiting the original recordings, REESE give both compositions a fresh identity through intimate acoustic arrangements that bring their melodies, vocal performances and emotional nuances to the forefront. Stripped of their usual electric intensity, the songs reveal another dimension of the band’s songwriting, highlighting the strength of the compositions and the emotional depth behind them.

To accompany the release, the band has also produced two exclusive videos, one for each acoustic performance, available here:

Formed in Vicenza, Italy, in 2006 and reborn in 2010, REESE have developed a distinctive sound rooted in melodic alternative rock and 90s grunge influences. Their journey includes several EPs and three full-length albums: Black Russian (2017), Dreaming Pieces (2022) and Long Streets (2024).

Released on November 29, 2024 via Octopus Rising, Long Streets marked another important step in the band’s artistic evolution, combining powerful arrangements and memorable melodies with introspective lyrics exploring loss, fear of change and the desire to break free from everyday routines. Its Italian-language counterpart, Lunghe Strade, followed on April 18, 2025.

With Live Unplugged at The Hub Studios, REESE demonstrate the versatility of their songwriting, proving that powerful compositions can take on an entirely different life when stripped down to their essential elements.
