Debut Album From Italian Symphonic Metallers FOGALORD Released

Limb Music have released the debut album ‘A Legend To Believe In‘ from Italian Symphonic Epic Power Metal band FOGALORD.
‘A Legend To Believe In‘ is a vision come true for FOGALORD mastermind, singer and keyboard player Dany All. The creative Italian musician started work on the FOGALORD debut album in 2008. He has written a concept album which tells the story of a god of war in a land of thick mists. This is inspired by the history of Dany’s hometown, Carpi.

Musically, Dany and his fellow band members, Stefano Paolini (guitar), Lorenzo Costi (bass) and Francesco Zanarelli (drums) are pleasing their listeners with classical speedy, highly melodic metal, crowned by impressive vocals. Hymn-like, epic songs with bombastic melodies and classical influences make “A Legend To Believe In” by FOGALORD a real highlight of the genre.

There are guest performances on the album by ex- RHAPSODY bass player Alessandro Lotta, ANCIENT BARDS members Claudio Pietronik and Martino Garatoni, as well as guitarist Pier Gonella (LABYRINTH, NECRODEATH, MASTERCASTLE).

Luca Turilli’s RHAPSODY are proud to announce the special guests of the European leg of their ASCENDING TO INFINITY CINEMATIC WORLD TOUR 2012: FREEDOM CALL and ORDEN OGAN from Germany and VEXILLUM from Italy.

“We worked with the tour agency ROCK THE NATION to offer to the people a great package with 4 amazing bands. Now here it is!” says the new singer ALESSANDRO CONTI. And adds: “On top RHAPSODY are ready to offer a unique show of around 2 hours based on new songs, old songs from the first albums rarely or never played until now, a few exclusive surprises from the solo albums of LUCA TURILLI, video projection and much more. LUCA TURILLI’S RHAPSODY Completes New Choir Recordings For ‘Cinematic World Tour’

After a summer devoted to work, work and more work, Italian “cinematic” metallers LUCA TURILLI’S RHAPSODY have announced that all is proceeding perfectly with the production of their “Ascending To Infinity Cinematic World Tour”. The band’s guitarist/mainman Luca Turilli and singer Alessandro Conti just came back from the Backyard Studios in Kempten, Germany where they recorded a new session of epic choirs exclusively for the upcoming trek.

Explains Luca: “As in our shows we will also play some of the very old RHAPSODY songs, rarely or never played until now, we decided to re-record the choirs for those same songs in order to present them on stage with the best sound quality possible. Moreover, we decided to add a great choral impact to some songs that originally were not featuring a choir.”

Adds Alessandro: “A couple of days ago, we met in Germany some of the singers who already performed on the new album ‘Ascending To Infinity’, and, thanks to their unique vocal power, we gave new energy and new life to those glorious and legendary tracks that made the history of RHAPSODY!”

The singers who took part in the new choral recordings are Conti, photographer Johnny Eisprung; Matthias Stockinger, singer and actor from the musical “Evita”; and the AOR legend Dan Lucas, who sold 1.4 million copies with the single “Heart Of America”.

In August 2011, RHAPSODY OF FIRE guitarist Luca Turilli and keyboardist Alex Staropoli announced their decision to go their separate ways.

Due to legal reasons, Staropoli is continuing under the RHAPSODY OF FIRE name. Turilli, on the other hand, is making his efforts available under the RHAPSODY moniker (RHAPSODY OF FIRE‘s original name), in which he is joined by guitarist Dominique Leurquin, bassist Patrice Guers, singer Alessandro Conti (TRICK OR TREAT) and drummer Alex Landenburg (AT VANCE, ANNIHILATOR, MEKONG DELTA, STRATOVARIUS).

LUCA TURILLI’S RHAPSODY‘s new album, “Ascending To Infinity”, entered the German Media Control chart at the position No. 32.

On August 3, 2012 (one exact month after the release of the new CD ASCENDING TO INFINITY in US), we will officially close the PRESALES AND SALES CONTEST organized together with the friends of NUCLEAR BLAST. In the following week we will announce the name of 3 winners (2 of them will be selected randomly between all the people who ordered their CD before the release date and 1 between the ones who ordered it online within August 3). Luca Turilli’S RHAPSODY Debuts On Two Billboard Charts And On More European Charts

Ascending To Infinity, the new album by Italian symphonic/cinematic metal band LUCA TURILLI’S RHAPSODY, has debuted at #44 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart and at #69 on the Current Hard Music chart in US.

The album also debuted on the German Media Control chart at #32 last week. In Italy at #86 climbing up to #56 in the second week; in Hungary at #14, in France at #58, in the UK at #39 (indie charts rock/metal) and in Switzerland at #55.

Nuclear Blast and RHAPSODY would like to thank all the fans for their support in making these achievements possible.
