Part 2 is released on November 8, 2017 (The ammoversary of former vocalist Guy Speranza’s passing) and covers the Fire Down Under Era, Guy Speranza’s quitting band and the Rhett Forester years.

Filmmaker Jimmy Kay had this to say about the project, “There is no other documentary out there that explains the Riot story and legacy in complete detail like”Fight or Fall.” Kay continued “The final shoot date for the documentary will be on the anniversary of Mark Reale’s passing January 24 2018 (midnite Jan 25) at the Hall of Heavy Metal History induction ceremonies for Riot, which happened all by coincidence, believe it or not?”
Giles Lavery co-producer concluded, “The story of Riot is one of the most unique and inspiring in the history of Hard Rock and Heavy Metal, the story has many twists and turns along the way, but the songs were and are always at forefront as some of the best in Hard Rock and Heavy Metal.”

Over the past couple years Metal Blade Records has re-issued a whole bunch of RIOT albums on Digi-CD and vinyl.
On September 8th the next two titles will be added to the rich catalogue of this fabulous band. ‘Army Of One‘ and ‘Through The Storm‘ are two studio albums that can easily be described as melodic power metal gems!
‘Army Of One‘ will be available on Digi-CD with two bonus tracks (‘Road Racin’ (live)’ and ‘Still Alive (instrumental rough mix)’ as well as on vinyl in three different versions (180 g black/golden yellow/clear/black marbled).
‘Through The Storm‘ will be available on Digi-CD with four bonus tracks (‘Follow You (demo)’, ‘Army Of One (instrumental)’, ‘Shine (instrumental)’ and ‘Blinded (demo)’) as well as on vinyl in three different versions (180 g black/night blue grey-marbled/clear white).
All three albums have been remastered by Patrick Engel for the best sound quality ever. The vinyl versions include 350 g covers, an insert and a free poster each, the Digi-CDs poster booklets.

Furthermore, Donnie Van Stavern gave The Metal Voice some updates in regards to Riot and Riot V, he said, “next year 2018 is the 30th anniversary of Thundersteel and I will let you know first hand that we are playing Loudpark 2018, the Thunderteel album from start to finish and we will bring Tony Moore and Bobby Jarzombek with The whole Riot V band and we will be doing the Thundersteel appearances at other festivals as well.”
Donnie Van Stavern stated that Riot V has written 22 songs for the new album and they will choose about a dozen for the album and will include 2 bonus tracks, He concluded that the new Riot V album will be released around November 2017 on their new label Rat Pack Records

RIOT Documentary ‘Fight or Fall’ Part 1 covers the formation of Riot, ‘Rock City’, ‘Narita’ eras and the demise and resurrection of the band for their most popular album ‘Fire down under Album’.

Filmmaker Jimmy Kay had this to say about the project,” In this documentary, the viewer gets to watch the band travel in the first person from city to city, playing club and festivals shows. It captures the brotherhood, the continuation of Riot and bridges the two entities together (Riot and Riot V). The documentary also aims to explain the Riot story and legacy. ”

RIOT V’s debut “Unleash The Fire”, was released in October 2014 . The CD marked the first release from RIOT without the late, great founding guitarist Mark Reale, who passed away in 2012 due to complications of Crohn’s disease . Riot V was encouraged by father of Mark Reale to forge ahead in his honor.
RIOT V is working on the follow-up to “Unleash The Fire” and preparing for live dates later in 2017.
