“I am sitting here just glowing. We have been mixing the album the last couple of days and I can never believe how amazing the recording process is,” reveals SEBASTIAN BACH.
“We have captured some kick ass rock n roll magic and producer par excellance Bob Marlette is the wizard behind the board. It is such an awesome feeling to be able to say to the planet if you like the music I have put out before, I can guarantee you will dig this one! I cannot stop listening to it and that is the whole intention. For those of you who dig my high crazy ass screams of the other records, well I am proud to say this new disc features all the ranges and textures I have been known for, clean soaring melodic ballads and blood curdling death screams from hell. My band and songwriting partners are all top notch and I cannot thank everyone enough for helping make this with me! Next up mastering with Tom Baker who did the last three albums!”
Sebastian’s new, as yet untitled album, will be released via Frontiers Records reportedly in spring 2014.

Vocalist SEBASTIAN BACH has checked in from the studio with the following update:
“Great times with ZAKK WYLDE last week in Washington! I am just resting my body and soul after singing all day every day for this past week for the new record! Once again producer Bob Marlette has outdone himself and this is the perfect follow-up to Kicking & Screaming. I am extremely excited for you all to hear it! I have been putting in long hours every single day making sure that it is kicking your ass in every way possible and it is sounding great! Bach to work on Monday, the album is almost done!”
Bach recently made available a new live video clip of ‘Big Guns’ taken from the recent Live DVD/CD package ABachalypse Now released last March on Frontiers.
Bach has since posted the message below on Facebook following some fan feedback:
“A lot of complete idiots are on the internet.
Fact #1: I do not use Auto Tune. I don’t even know what it is. My sound man uses delay and reverb on my voice. Just like Rob Halford (JUDAS PRIEST) on Unleashed in the East. I dig Halford’s sound. If you have a problem with delay, or reverb, complain to Rob.
Fact #2: I do not use ProTools in a live situation. I do not know of any singer who uses Pro Tools live. Pro Tools are used when recording albums.
What you are hearing in this video is exactly this: a live performance. With me making a CD out of this audio, I went into the studio and stood still and sang, fixing some parts of the song where I am running around a stage the size of a football field. In other words, I made a CD that you could listen to as well as watch. Like every live CD that I personally own.
The internet is such a fucking joke. Idiots bitch and moan and comment under YouTube cellphone clips and say ‘This doesn’t sound like the record.’ Then, when you make an actual record, the comments are ‘This sounds too much like the record.’ Oh well. This page is for people who enjoy rock n’ roll music. If you don’t like it, it’s so fucking easy for me to ban you from the page and keep it a cool place for people who dig rock. There’s about a half a million of us on here. Don’t let the door hit your ass on the way out.”
ABachalypse Now can now be found in DVD/CD/LP. The LP is in a 180 gram Coloured Double Vinyl Gatefold Sleeve Format . The DVD/CD set includes Bach’s recent explosive performances from the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles (originally broadcasted on AXS TV in North America), Hellfest in France, Graspop in Belgium and more.
Former SKID ROW singer SEBASTIAN BACH is currently hard at work in the studio under the direction of producer Bob Marlette (BLACK SABBATH, ROB ZOMBIE) to record the anticipated follow up album to 2011’s Kicking & Screaming. The new effort will be released via label home Frontiers Records and is tentatively scheduled for spring 2014.
Of his forthcoming new album, Sebastian Bach commented, “I am happy to say we have completed the drums and most of the bass guitar for the new record. It is a pleasure to write songs with Duff, Steve, Bob, and Devin. The album will be mastered by Tom Baker who has mastered my last three albums. This CD will be balls out in-your-face high-energy rock ‘n roll which just so happens to be my favorite style of music. I look forward to releasing the record and playing these songs live for you all in 2014!”
Sebastian managed to involve in the writing and recording some very special friends and guest stars, including none other than: Duff McKagan (VELVET REVOLVER, GUNS N’ ROSES), and not one but two top class guitar players: John 5 (ROB ZOMBIE, MARILYN MANSON) and Steve Stevens (BILLY IDOL). Rounding up the lineup on the album are Devin Bronson on guitars and Bobby Jarzombek (HALFORD, FATES WARNING) on drums. Duff and Sebastian have previously collaborated on Duff’s solo album Believe In Me.
In the meantime Sebastian has made available a new live video clip of ‘Big Guns’ taken from the recent Live DVD/CD package ABachalypse Now released last March on Frontiers.

During a recent conversation with fans via his Twitter account, former SKID ROW singer SEBASTIAN BACH revealed that back in the ’90s – when MÖTLEYCRÜE split with Vince Neil – he was asked to join.
Bach’s Twitter following asked him if he was ever considered to replace Neil in Mötley Crüe. He responded, “Not considered. Asked.” Bach went on to say in a following post that “the fact of the matter is I was not only asked to join Mötley Crüe….. I actually rehearsed with the band Mötley Crüe.”
Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx addressed the claim shortly after the exchange suggesting that Bach had his facts wrong. In response, Bach dug up some old interview footage on YouTube to back up his claim (go to 3:50):
Bach recently issued the following statement:
“The fact of the matter is I was not only asked to join Mötley Crüe….. I actually rehearsed with the band Mötley Crüe. I was driven to rehearsal by Tommy Lee and I spent a full day singing the Mötley Crüe set with the band Mötley Crüe. In front of their whole road crew. I remember the songs that Nikki asked me to sing that day. I remember the whole road crews’ ecstatic reaction to us jamming together all day. And I remember Nikki’s very generous, kind offer, at the end of our rehearsal, for me to join the band Mötley Crüe. I remember his exact words, that he said to me in front of his whole road crew, Tommy, and Mick as well. It’s not every day that your hero asks you to join his band.
I remember everything about that day…. including what kind of sandwich Tommy Lee had for lunch. I will tell this complete story in my upcoming book. This was not just a simple offer to ‘join a band’. I rehearsed with the band. I spoke to their management on the phone days later about Nikki’s offer. It was a big deal involving record companies, management companies, and all sorts of business dealings. Maybe Nikki doesn’t remember that day. But I find it hard to believe that I would spend a day rehearsing with the band, at their official rehearsal hall, do the set with them, in front of their whole road crew, and Nikki doesn’t remember this? Oh well. I will tell the complete story of Nikki offering me to join Mötley Crüe in my upcoming book, which will be arriving on bookshelves soon. I am not simply ‘making this up’.
Thank you all for enjoying my Twitter page so very much. I am not a liar. I am working on my book right now and I look forward to you all reading it. I plan on my book having even more information in it than one of my tweets does.”
Former SKID ROW singer SEBASTIAN BACH continues work on the the follow-up to 2011’s Kicking & Screaming with guitarists Jeff George and Johnny Chromatic, bassist Jason Christopher and longtime drummer Bobby Jarzombek (HALFORD, FATES WARNING) who has just completed his drum tracks. The band checks in from the studio below:
Tonight (September 14th), Bach will join SIN CITY SINNERS in Las Vegas, NV for a special one-off show at Count’s Vamp’d Rock Bar & Grill.
Baz also has three upcoming concerts in South America:
September
19 – Rock In Rio – Rio De Janeiro, Brazil
21 – Sociedade Orpheu – São Leopoldo, Brazil
22 – Carioca Club – Sao Paulo, Brazil
Former SKID ROW frontman Sebastian Bach is currently in the studio working on his next album with producer Bob Marlette (BLACK SABBATH, ALICE COOPER), who helmed the singer’s last solo CD, 2011’s “Kicking & Screaming”.
Comments Bach: “Well, I am happy to say we have spent the last two days in studio and we know exactly what to do with this new record. It is going to be balls-out, kick-ass rock ‘n’ roll with tons of vocal histrionics and harmonies especially. That is what I am hearing so far on this record.
“I am going to really concentrate on harmonies and pushing my voice to the maximum you have ever heard it pushed. The riffs are crazy and cool and we have 13 or so songs so we are right on track and we know exactly what to do to kick your ass into 2014!
“We are into it! And get ready for new Bach rock coming your way soon! Thanks to Devin Bronson and Bob Marlette who are really making it happen!”
Bach‘s next solo CD, which is tentatively due in early 2014 via Frontiers Records, is expected to feature contributions from Steve Stevens (BILLY IDOL) and Los Angeles-based guitarist Jeff George, who previously played with ASKING ALEXANDRIA‘s lead vocalist Danny Worsnop. Making a guest appearance on the album will also be bassist Duff McKagan (DUFF MCKAGAN’S LOADED, VELVET REVOLVER, GUNS N’ ROSES).
Bach‘s brand new CD/DVD package, “ABachalypse Now”, was released in North America on March 26 via Frontiers Records. The “ABachalypse Now” Ultimate CD/DVD Edition includes never-before-seen footage from last year’s Graspop Metal Meeting festival in Dessel, Belgium, the full never-before-seen Hellfest set from France and the fully-remixed and remastered Nokia show from Los Angeles (originally broadcast on AXS TV), as well as bonus music videos. The DVD contains a running time of nearly 160 minutes. “ABachalypse Now” was made available in two configurations: the Ultimate CD/DVD Edition (2 CDs + DVD) and a standalone DVD.
