Ragga Metallers SKINDRED release a new lyric video for fan-favourite track “Loud and Clear”, taken from their UK Top 40 hit album Big Tings on Napalm Records. The release comes ahead of the band’s upcoming tour, supporting US Rock legends Disturbed, and heralds exciting times for SKINDRED.
“We are currently gearing up for a very heavy year of extensive touring and are also hoping to work on writing new material in the gaps,” says SKINDRED drummer Arya Goggin, “The track ‘Loud and Clear’ from Big Tings was a very popular choice with our fans, so we have decided to put it out to coincide with our tour with Disturbed.”
“We hit the road with Disturbed in April, with shows throughout Europe and the UK, then we are literally straight into festival season; finally to round off the year we are taking the ‘That’s My Jam’ Tour to Europe (with Blood Command as our special guest), which finishes in late December. So, in short, it’s going to be a rollercoaster of a year!”
“Loud and Clear” gets a gritty yet dreamy, uber-colourful urban-themed video, with neon-style lyrics on top of mesmeric clips of a spraycan-wielding graffiti painter. This is mixed with the usual energetic live footage of SKINDRED doing what they do best, killing it live with Newport Helicopters, energy, style and appeal.
Watch “Loud and Clear” here:
SKINDRED’s tour as Disturbed’s special guest runs from 18th April to 15th May and covers the nations of Europe, reaching UK shores on 11th May, playing dates at London, Glasgow and Manchester. Many dates are already sold out.
SKINDRED’s headline “That’s My Jam” European tour (with special guests Blood Command) likewise covers many nations on the continent and runs from 29th November to 19th December. Full details on SKINDRED’s website.

UK Ragga Rockers SKINDRED have released a new single/video “That’s My Jam” from the upcoming new album “Big Tings” which will be released on April 27th via Napalm Records.
Watch the video here:
The Video for the new single features a special appearance by Hollywood actor and all round bad guy Patrick Bergin best known for his roles in the classic films Sleeping with the Enemy & Patriot Games as well as recently starring in the UKs biggest TV show EastEnders as Aidan Maguire.
“That ‘s My Jam” is an infectious metal pop beast of a track which still retains the Skindred ragga swagga metal trademark sound of the band. “That’s My Jam” is how Rock music in 2018 should sound: unique, trend setting and straight to the point!
The album has been recorded at Peter Gabriels Real World studio in the village of Box, NR Bath.
Skindred Guitarist Mikey Demus states: “The name hopefully says it all, you can expect some seriously Big Tings from Skindred on our next record. We’ve thrown away the rulebook and pushed ourselves harder than ever to create the biggest, baddest, and most banging songs we could muster. We can’t wait to start unleashing this new stuff on the world, so prepare yourselves for some Big Tings!”
Roaring and pounding, the follow-up to 2015`s Volume is a magnificent beast churning out heavy, distortion-laden riff punches melting into vocalist Benji Webbe`s frenzied rapping. Explosive metal and punk material rubs shoulders with smooth melodies – and of course Skindred wouldn’t leave us on the dancefloor without a hefty helping of their trademark Godzilla-esquely huge choruses. Big songs, big sound, big tings!

“Machine” is the first single from SKINDRED’s upcoming album entitled “Big Tings” – out on April 27th 2018 via Napalm Records.
The band has already released a first album appetizer in the form of a teaser for the track “Machine”. Now it’s time to unleash the full music video which features actor and stunt man Neil Chapelhow best known for his work in new films Wonder Woman, Fantastic Beasts and where to find them, The Commuter, King Arthur and many more.
The band states: “When we were told we were doing a video with the stunt team thats be behind the marvel films, James Bond and the Bourne films we knew we were in for a good time on the shoot! Throw in Gary from Reef and one of our fav bars in London (Big Red) and you have the ingredients for a really fun video! The idea is don’t judge a book by its cover. Skindred is inclusive. Not Exclusive. So when someone in a rock bar is being teased by some “rockers” for not being the same as them, he hits back! In a big way!”
Watch the music video premiere here:
“Machine” has already been used as both the intro and outro theme to ACDC frontman Brian Johnson‘s TV show ‘Cars that Rock’ Worldwide and features Reef frontman Gary Stringer lining up alongside the band’s own Benji Webbe on co-vocals and if that is not enough the single also features Motorhead/Bastard Sons guitarist Phil Campbell taking the honours on the guitar solo too!
Meanwhile SKINDRED shot some exclusive behind the scenes Studio footage while recording their new album “Big Tings” at Peter Gabriels Real World studio in the village of Box, near Bath. View the band’s album teaser HERE!
