The third in a series of teaser clips for the forthcoming SLIPKNOT greatest-hits album, “Antennas To Hell”, can be seen below. The latest clip focuses on the band’s late bassist, Paul Gray.
“Antennas To Hell” is scheduled for release on July 17 via Roadrunner Records.

As previously reported, SLIPKNOT vocalist Corey Taylor has confirmed that the group is finally “putting together demos” for its fifth major label album, which it is expected to begin recording next year for a mid-to-late 2013 release.
SLIPKNOT is getting back to work after an extended hiatus following the passing of Gray in 2010. May 24 was the two-year anniversary of Gray‘s death from an overdose of drugs.
Playing bass on SLIPKNOT‘s recent tours has been early band member Donnie Steele. Percussionist Shawn “Clown” Crahan told The Pulse Of Radio that Steele has been doing a great job, but no decisions on a permanent replacement have been made. “Donnie‘s a beautiful person and he’s just done a remarkable job,” he said. “He’s always got a smile on his face and he’s doing Paul proud and Paul‘s proud of it and it’s amazing. He’s filling in for Paul now and we’ll see what happens in the future, but it’s way too early to even remotely even entertain those ideas.”
Crahan said in an interview with Metal Injection in March that all the members of SLIPKNOT had been writing music, adding, “But nothing is done because we’re not together yet. And there is no reason to get together and talk about it because there are other things moving, like the grieving process.”

Vocalist Corey Taylor and other members of SLIPKNOT visited the grave site of the band’s late bassist, Paul Gray, last night on the two-year anniversary of his death.
“We just hung out and told some good stories,” Taylor tells Revolver. “It felt good to do that. It was the first time we’ve been able to hang out and talk about him without crumbling. It was good. We laughed about the old memories. It meant something. It definitely meant something.”
Gray passed away in May 2010 from an accidental overdose of drugs, leaving behind his wife Brenna and daughter October, who was born the following August.
SLIPKNOT played its first headlining show since the death of Paul Gray on June 21, 2011 at Columbiahalle in Berlin, Germany. Gray‘s red jumpsuit, mask and bass guitar stood at the back of the stage while his bandmates performed. The rest of the group’s members donned red jumpsuits and older versions of their trademark masks from SLIPKNOT‘s earlier days, in tribute to their fallen bandmate.
Playing bass for the band is Donnie Steele, who was the guitarist in an early incarnation of the group. Steele, however, is hidden from the audience’s view.
“Even though Paul‘s not with us, everybody’s right, he would not want us to just stop being what we are,” Taylor tells Revolver. “We headlined the first [Rockstar Energy Drink] Mayhem run [in 2008], and now we’re coming back and doing it again [this summer], albeit it under different circumstances. But I think it’s going to be great. Plus, I’ll have my family out with me so it’s going to be like summer vacation, only more masks.” Source: Blabbermouth.net
