The band comments: “As we unveil Sudden Death in all it’s wonderous glory, we also bid you one last piece of the puzzle! This time filtered through the crazy, hazy mind of Costin Chioreanu. Get your socks on, so we can blow them of. It’s time for REVOLUTION!”
Due to logistical issues related to the Covid pandemic, physical copies of the album will be available in Sweden a few days after the original release date.

HORISONT’s “Sudden Death” supercharges their mountainous ascent in an immediate explosion of rich and intricately created songs, but in it’s conception was an artfully crafted 3-year labour of love. The pay-off for HORISONT’s dedicated handiwork is a confidently sumptuous album of monumental, anthemic stadium-sized rock choruses, twin-guitar harmonies, and symphonic piano-laden rock that is as rare as it is catchy and captivating. Having earned their special place in the hearts of the heavy underground, with a dedicated international audience in thrall to the stunning energy of their live shows, HORISONT are a fearlessly inventive tour-de-force of heavy rock.
Vocalist Axel declares that “Our mission was to make the record that WE wanted to do, and not what people expect us to do,” and it is with this irreverent and devil-may-care attitude that HORISONT let’s their music run wild with abandon, undeniably electrifying and moving the listener the way real rock and roll should, a middle finger to current trends.
The band comments: Third slice of heaven from our 6th album Sudden Death is Runaway. A piece of forgotten Horisont history. This track was originally recorded for our first ever demo back in 2005. It lived on for a few years at live shows and then was forgotten about. But as they say; there’s no reason to reinvent the wheel so here it is again for all of the world to enjoy. Slightly different but just as good!
The band’s European tour in May has been postponed to a later point in time, new dates will be announced soon.

The band comments: “From the ashes of a personal tragedy, rises the song ‘Free Riding’. A song that slowly builds up and grows on you listen by listen. Musically it takes the listener along the road that took us to where we stand today. You can hear the many different influences coming together to make the HORISONT sound.”
Gothenburg’s HORISONT have released the first song and video from their upcoming album, “Sudden Death”, which is due for a release on May 15th, via Century Media Records.

The band comments: “We are thrilled to be back in business with a brand new song and video! The first taste of our upcoming album ‘Sudden Death’ is the song ‘Pushin’ The Line’. A straight up rocker! To go with the theme of the album title, we decided to record the video in an actual ice hockey rink. It was slippery, smelly and cold but as they say; no pain, no gain. Hope you’ll enjoy it!”
