The sixth track from SLEEP TOKEN’s debut album, Sundowning, has been released; titled ‘Take Aim’, this new song follows ‘Higher’ in the official sequencing of the band’s yet to be released album.

SLEEP TOKEN have already sold out their London headline show at Camden Underworld and their date at Manchester Academy 3 (recently upgraded after the Night and Day club sold out almost instantaneously), both set to take place this October.

Fans across the pond will be able to experience Sleep Token live this coming November when they embark on the ‘Beautiful Oblivion’ tour as Special Guests to Issues, marking Sleep Token’s first ever US shows.

From June to November, through 12 tracks and passing seasons, Sleep Token reveals an evenly-spaced, precisely-timed sequence of recordings that stand as both individual touchstones and carefully aligned musical pieces, all informed by a common emotional thread plus a flow of graphics and videos specific to each song; the end result is a digital and physical release of the album on November 22nd, with format choices embracing a bespoke box-set containing a variety of exclusive elements, including early recordings.

SUNDOWNING: “Sundowning, or sundown syndrome, is a neurological phenomenon associated with increased confusion and restlessness in patients with delirium or some form of dementia. The term ‘sundowning’ was coined due to the timing of the patient’s confusion. For patients with sundowning syndrome, a multitude of behavioural problems begin to occur in the evening or while the sun is setting…”
