THE MUGSHOTS to Release New Album “Gloomy, Eerie And Weird” on April 17th

The new album by THE MUGSHOTS  “Gloomy, Eerie And Weird” promises to be one of the most eclectic releases of the International scene with its visionary, innovative and exciting musical landscapes spreading Heavy Metal, Dark Horror Rock, Gothic and Post-Punk from every facet of it.

Today we reveal the cover of the album realized by the great and talented artist Gaye Black and the tracklist which is made up of 10 little jewels:

“Gloomy, Eerie And Weird” is an incredible work more than anything else for its sound, son of the guitarist Priest’s production and Dan Swanö’s mind-blowing mastering at Unisound Studio, then for the guests from all over the world who indelibly enrich the album (just a few names here: Mario “The Black” Di Donato with his last recordings, Gaye Advert, Enrico Ruggeri, Andy La Rocque, Sakis Tolis, Jim Mutilator, Trevor Sadist, Fredrik Norrman, Tommy Talamanca), and above all for the characteristics of the journey they do in this output which, between darkness, irony and vision, confirms a band with its own identity so unique in the international Rock scene to be incomparable.

THE MUGSHOTS: New Video “Introitus/The Circus/Rain” Directed by Canadian Erotic-Thriller Author Vince D’Amato

The new video by THE MUGSHOTS is now available, directed by Canadian director/producer Vince D’Amato from Creepy Six Films / Brivido Giallo. Songs from “Something Weird” by THE MUGSHOTS will be part of the soundtrack for the new movie entitled “Valley Of The Rats”, to be released in 2017. In 2016 Vince D’Amato and Mickey E.Vil won prizes and got nominated in various independent american film festivals for the movie Glass and its original soundtrack.

“Something Weird”, produced by Death SS’ Freddy Delirio, will be introduced at Circolo Arci V. & C. Machiri in Lonato del Garda (Brescia, Italy) on saturday, November 26 together with 2nd Way Out and Nowhere. The proceeds of the concert will be allocated to a project which intent will be to bring joy and culture among the kids who suffered the earthquake effects in central Italy. The album coverart was created by renowned Enzo Rizzi, the italian comic author whose Rock & Metal comic books have been sold-out more than once. The other drawings in the booklet are done by Stefano Alghisi (creator of Jim Morrison’s comic bio “Morrison Hotel”) whose drawings have been included in the italian edition of “Journey To The Center Of The Cramps” by Dick Porter.

Italian dark rockers THE MUGSHOTS have released their new effort “Something Weird” via Black Widow Records, celebrating the band’s XV anniversary. Today the band has unleashed a new music video “Grey Obsession”.

Halloween is getting closer and THE MUGSHOTS along with Black Widow Records are proud to introduce to you – in order to announce the release of “Something Weird” – the new video of “Grey Obsession”, a dark-psychedelic song featuring renowned guests such as Matt Malley on fretless bass (Counting Crows founding member, Oscar/Grammy nominated); Mike Browning on percussions and theremin (Nocturnus AD); Martin Grice on flute (Delirium Igp). Three amazing musicians coming from different worlds, yet able to syncretistically merge their art in this song, soundtrack to a dark dream, not necessarily a nightmare.

Italian dark rockers THE MUGSHOTS are set to release their new effort “Something Weird” on October 31th via Black Widow Records, celebrating the band’s XV anniversary. Today the band has unleashed a new lyric video:

October 31, 2016 will see the release of THE MUGSHOTS ‘ Something Weird, produced by Freddy Delirio (Death SS, H.A.R.E.M.) for Black Widow Records. Along with such announcement, the band released the first lyric video off the album. “Scream Again” features legendary Steve Sylvester (Death SS) on vocals, together with Freddy Delirio himself on keyboards and Ain Soph Aour (Necromass) on backing vocals. The song was co-written by rEnE from austrian dark-rockers Mayfair, whose latest album My Ghosts Inside was released early this year by german Pure Prog Records.

Black Widow Records and THE MUGSHOTS disclose the cover of “Something Weird”, to be released next october by legendary Black Widow Records from Genova. The album, produced by Freddy Delirio (DEATH SS, H.A.R.E.M.) will be featuring Matt Malley (ex – Counting Crows) and Tony Dolan (Venom Inc.) among the others.

THE MUGSHOTS, the first and only European band ever produced by legendary Dick Wagner (Alice Cooper, Lou Reed) just released a studio report including some words by renowned guests that took part in “Something Weird”, the new Mugshots’ opus that will be released next october by Black Widow Records. The album will feature the likes of Matt Malley (exCounting Crows), Tony Dolan (Venom Inc.), Steve Sylvester (Death SS) and many others.
